This album is stunning. I don't know where it came from. It's much more heart broken than the last album, but perhaps that's what happens traveling all around and pulled from any roots.

Watching her live, you can't help but be entertained by her hilarious monologues and her super charming personality. But when she gets to the song, you instantly feel like you're almost a voyeur to her pain in process. It's beautfilul, yet almost uncomfortable, like you walked in when you weren't supposed to be there.

What pleases me and disturbs me most about this record is that, she has captured her live presence on record. It's so intimate, that she sounds like she's in your living room playing songs for you. Lyrically, if she got her bachelor's on Happenstance, she's graduated with honors and is well on her way to her PHD. Bottom line, it's stunning. Amazing. It may take a listen or two, but it catches you and won't let go.
