A Very Merry Christmas

Alright, fears temporarily dispelled.

The full version of album track “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence – FYI” has made its way to Utada’s iLike page. Please, don’t let the melancholic opening strings fool you–the song quickly opens into a delicious mid-tempo swaying stomp. Quite an “instant classic,” as they say.

Additionally, thanks to a comment from poster Michael, I’ve learned that not only is the title in question ithe name of a movie starring David Bowie, but that Hikki samples “Forbidden Colours,” the title track of the movie, for the song.
