For me it's a relinquishment of her POWER as she tries to compete with 22 year olds. Maybe this will be good, but the whole thing sounds terrible. "I want to make a record that sounds like the record Britney made on drugs TWO years ago." WTF? And the fact that Revolver is like Incredible in that she won't have had much of a hand in writing it speaks to my issues with Hard Candy. I want more Madonna in Madonna and she seems hellbent on not doing that. I get the sense she was in the kitchen with Orbit and Price - and abdicated a lot with Mirwais.<br /><br />As she ages we're seeing the results of her short attention span. Urgh.
