3cover 300x300 Daily B: Are You Ready for Britneys 3? (Single Review)

LISTEN NOW.

Facts:

- It’s about ‘doing it’ with two people at once.

- It is synthy and auto-tuned up the wazoo, but not like what you were expecting really.

- Choice lyric: “Living in sin is the new thing.”

- It is required to listen to “3″ no less than three times, as its value will grow exponentially upon each play.

- It is like “Womanizer” in the sense that the verses are “meh,” the bridge is “literally fantastic,” and the chorus is “ridiculously, ridiculously catchy.”

- The greatest moment is the song’s middle eight (which sort of vastly improves on elements from 2003′s “Brave New Girl.”)

- Have I mentioned the middle eight? It’s absolutely lush.

VERDICT: IT IS FANTASTIC.

Love, love, LOVED it. I didn’t know what to expect, and I was super surprised. I liked it on first listen. With ‘Womanizer’ I had to listen a few times for it to catch on with me. With ’3′ I liked it instantly. Very cool song.

I loved it too! The lyrics don’t surprise me – Max Martin keeps trying to push the envelope further and further. I hope the music video is hot.

Like your blog, like your taste in music, etc. But aren’t you tired of plagiarizing the writing style of Peter Robinson ? Get your own voice.

  • RJ

    It’s bad
    And also, Peter who?

Hey – we all influence each other; I’m sure even Peter borrows his style from others.

Thanks for sharing this Brad! x

The writing style is above and beyond the taste in music, plagiarized or not. You all need to hear some better songs for a change!

Biblical reference? Um, no, Jacob. It’s a reference to the 60s folk group “Peter, Paul and Mary”

    Yeah, really.

    Song rocks. Seriously.
