Maybe Ray will review the album on his blog? Or does he not write a blog?

Thank God you managed to wade your way through with that enlightening comment, Ray.

Also, I DID give it a 3 1/2...guess the borderline pretentious blabbing must have not only affected your ability to 'get' the sarcasm in EQ's comment, but your vision as well.

I'm actually quite surprised at how high you scored the album, considering all the borderline pretentious blabbing I had to wade through. I was expecting more along the lines of 2 1/2, or at the highest, 3 1/2.

For me, the album is quite good, but, as someone mentioned before, "Imogen Heap will never be The Dolly Rockers!" and thank god for that as all TDR seems to do is pose and act cute. I wonder how an album of theirs would turn out if they self-produced it.....hmmm.

Interesting fact - The snare drum in "Bad Body Double" is actually Imogen slapping her ass...

Though I like it more than you, I totally agree. The run of Swoon, Earth and Little Bird is particularly bad for tracks so early on an album. Love Wait It Out, Tidal, BBD, Between Sheets and Half Life. Wish she'd built a piano ballad out of The Fire - the album is crying out for a song like The Dumbing Down of Love (aka lover alone without love!).

Very well written review Brad. Am disappointed you don't like it, but I can see where you're coming from on some aspects. I guess Imogen Heap will never be The Dolly Rockers right...! ;)

You hate all the tracks I love. "Earth", "Aha!" and "Bad Body Double" are my three favorites!
