There’s talented, and then there’s just…beyond.

Words fail to describe Janelle Monae’s rock-and-rolling new track, “Come Alive (War of the Roses),” produced along with the Kia Soul Collective. It’s smart, it’s solid, and it’s way, way out of control…in the best way possible.

I mean, have you ever even heard the sounds emitted at the 2:20 mark from a human before? Didn’t think so.

According to a Facebook note, this is but a taste of what’s to come from Monae’s upcoming full-length debut in early 2010. The question is: Are you ready for Janelle?

I haven’t even clicked on the link yet I know that this will be AWESOME.

More people need to be made aware of the presence of the genius that is Janelle Monae. That goes without saying that I am more than absolutely excited for her debut album come 2010.

Janelle Monae continues to a be a light of creativity in a sea of mediocrity. I love her originality. Whenever I hear her superb vocals I immediately can point out its JM. As for the song, the energy and sound is bananas! Love it.
