I’m the infamous fan who waited at 2am for the first show. I found a video of her speaking to me. I’ll never ever forget being front and center for all three nights, and believe me, the waiting was more than worth it. Some were calling me crazy but I’ve been waiting to see Kylie live and in person for about 12 years so I wanted to make sure I was at the front.

How amazing was it when she performed The One? I loved how she started it out slow and then it built up, fantastic. I went to the one in Chicago and there was this “older” man who i believe was rolling on some E cause he was (badly) dancing up a storm atleast he wasn’t singing though. : |

Sounds like an amazing show. I was in hard-core recessionista mode when she came through Oakland, but I’ve been kicking myself for missing her. I should have sold plasma or something. It’ll be great to get a new record from Kylie, it’s been a while!

I really loved “Better Than Today” – I found it really catchy.

I was at the same show as you. And yes, the only downside was this glittery gay next to me who loudly sang along to every single song, right into my ear! Horrible.

We loved “Better Than Today”! I’m surprised you did not! I’m so glad I got to go and experience Kylie (Chicago), for me it’s been 10 years of waiting.

I’m not surprised by the fan you were next too. We had a few of those in Chicago as well. One being a girl behind us who spent her first 20 minutes repeating (and I mean it quite literally) “Oh my god I can’t believe I’m seeing Kylie”. The rest of the night seemed to have an overtone of being a pissing contest of who was the biggest fan.

I went expecting it to be more of a party than it actually was but in the few moments when everyone was jumping up and down in unison, dancing to “In Your Arms”, singing acapella ‘Your Disco Needs You’ or without question throwing their arms up and swaying to ‘Kids’ it did feel like we had all come together to celebrate.

You know what, I think this same annoying guy was next to me in Paris for the opening night of the X2008 Tour. Though he was French so maybe it was his cousin or something ! AND I told him to shut up or I’d choke him with glitter confettis…(which, believe it or not, didn’t work )
