As I was debating the legitimacy of Britney’s musical talent with a friend of mine (what else does one do at two in the morning?), I was reminded of the time that Brit was featured playing “Everytime” in a documentary for ABC in 2003 before the release of In The Zone.

This is actually one of my very favorite Britney moments. It’s so honest. Just her singing and playing….beautifully, no less! She even talks about writing “Everytime” and talks about writing songs, as though it were something she did often. I wish we could see more of that…

Sigh…I want Britney to write again. Yes, there’s “My Baby,” but…“Let Go”? Gimme, gimme more.

I second your call for the creative Britney to return, Everytime always gets me when I hear it, and seeing this footage again reminds us of a time when Britney was ‘all together’…thanks

Actually I’ve been getting back into Everytime. It’s such a beautiful song.
Yeah Brit did hit a rough spot in her life but I think she is making a great comeback. I mean she still does have problems I assume but she is doing well otherwise.
