Despite a string of false rumors and erroneous “exclusive” reporting from certain blogs, Jennifer Lopez‘s “Louboutins” is and will continue to be her first single.

Even if it’s almost guaranteed to flop (I love it, radio won’t), the single will be paired with a music video to be filmed sometime later this month.

According to J-Lo, who called into KTU Mornings with Cubby (lolz) to discuss the single’s upcoming video, the video will involve “a lot of dancing” and will be “empowering.” Presumably (and this is my own speculation at this point), it will also contain many pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes.

Lopez will be performing the single on the So You Think You Can Dance? finale airing on Wednesday.
