Check it out–Alison just posted the cover for Head First on the official site! Isn’t it luscious?

Very simple idea, but it seems like the perfect extension beyond the Seventh Tree artwork.

Oh, and as for the videos…this doesn’t look like cover art that lends itself to licking dirt and melting trees to me. Back to the drawing board with the guessing, perhaps?

    I don’t think this necessarily writes Goldfrapp off. Videos often have nothing to do with the cover art for an album, and the title “Head First” is likely to be a reference to birth, which is a strong theme in both videos.

    STUNNING. Almost angelic; if only we didn’t know how much of a right cunt Alison can be, I’d say it was a heavenly cover shot.

    Cannot wait though, not one of their albums have disappointed.
