I was at the Honolulu show front row stage left next to George at the mixing desk. The first 2 rows were mostly people from Japan and Waikiki area. It was an incredibly intimate show. I haven’t seen such an intimate show since David Byrne played the old World Cafe in 2002. Hikaru locked eyes with me since I was right in front of her, and being 6′ 3″ did make this local stand out (yay!) I bought most of her Japanese albums not too long after this show. I fell in love again. George at the mixing desk gave me the setlist immediately following the house lights coming back up. I asked and he didn’t mind. It came from the keyboard setup stage left. I haven’t put it on facebook yet. Sadlly no photos for this show. I’ve gotten great shots for No Doubt, U2, Silversun Pickups, Filter, MAE, Owl City, Strokes, David Byrne before etc but at this show security were literally kicking people out of the venue for picture taking. So the EOS 300D DSLR and PowerShot S3 IS never came out. There is always Japan in the future. Thanks for your write up on Boston, MA, albeit my thanks comes about a months after the last post.

Hey there. You sold me the ticket to the NY show. It was amazing. She gave off so much energy in every song and the crowd was going nuts. I just wanted to thank you again for it.
