Kate Havnevik Delivers “Mouth 2 Mouth” (Single Review)
Of all the Norwegian electronica chanteuses in the world, Kate Havnevik is probably my favorite. I first discovered Havnevik back in 2006 with her debut record Melankton, a dreamy collection of electronica-infused tunes produced by ...

From The Mirror:
I’m so excited about going into the studio. I haven’t completely settled on what kind of music I’m going to make yet, but I would love it to be something like Lady GaGa…She is the new Madonna as far as I’m concerned.
Rounding out the last of her 2009 release, I Feel Cream, Peaches has just unveiled the latest video treatment for each one of the album’s tracks with “Billionaire,” featuring Shunda K.
Inspired by The Wizard of Oz, the Trash Queen goes on a booze-and-blunts Rated X rampage with her friends in tow to take over the town.
God, way to jack Ke$ha‘s swagga, amirite?
KIDDING. KIDDING. SO MUCH KIDDING. Fuck that talentless ho.
Killed it as per usual, Peaches!
From Twitter:
muumuse: @WilliamOrbit Are you, by any chance, working on Nadine Coyle’s solo album? Or just a friendly lunch? Please say yes to the former!
WilliamOrbit: @MuuMuse it’s a yes to the former
That’s right: MuuMuse can excluusively confirm that Madonna‘s Ray of Light producer and electronica legend William Orbit is indeed working with Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle on her upcoming solo work.
OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. YES!!!
Yesterday, Britney wore a crown purchased at a party store while shopping in Beverly Hills with her boyfriend, Jason Trawick.
ICON.
That is all.
Check out this rather serious exchange between Nicole Scherzinger and the always awkwardly disrespectful Ryan Seacrest on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
In short, yes–all the girls have left the band except for Nicole. She claims it’s because they all just want to ‘do their own thing.’ There may be a future reload of the Dolls, but Scherzy’s busy working on her own material (and upcoming spot on Dancing with the Stars) to worry about that right now.
I don’t know how true the rumors were regarding her alleged diva ‘tude, but almost all of the girls seemed to either directly or indirectly cite her as a major reason for their departure. She does seem genuinely hurt by the mass exodus in this interview, however. I feel bad.
Nevertheless, I look forward to hearing more from Nicole. As I’ve said before, “Whatever U Like” was a sorely missed opportunity to launch on the right foot.
Onward and upward, I say!
To all my Muusers in the Miami area, I’ve got tickets for quite the affair next week!

I KNEW THIS WOULD BE A SMASH HIT.
According to a press release from her label, Rihanna‘s “Rude Boy” has just crash-landed onto the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This marks the singer’s fifth solo #1 single, meaning she’s officially broken the record for most number one hits by a female artist since 2000.
Congrats, Riri!
NOW DANCE, YOU MOTHERFUCKERS.
The first of Robyn‘s three mini-albums seems to be just upon the horizon!
Today, the electro-gangstress uploaded a new song onto her official website, entitled either “Fembots” or “Fembots Have Feelings Too.”
From Twitter:
I got some news for you: fembots have feelings too! First taste of the new album up on www.robyn.com now!
With the same super fly, super fresh attitude and some classic Robyn verses, Sweden’s illest has just delivered what we’d been missing for the past five years.
Robyn is coming back with power, power. If the teaser clips from Dom kallar oss artister weren’t enough to prove it, this new song sure does.
Welcome back, RobotGirl.
