Shirley Manson and Elijah Wood: The 2010 Oliver Peoples Campaign

Here now is the 2010 advertising campaign for Oliver Peoples, the eye-wear company, featuring the ever dashing Elijah Woods and one of my very favorite ladies of rock, Shirley Manson.

The video, entitled “Les enfants s’ennuient le dimanche” (or, “The Children are Bored on Sundays”) was shot by acclaimed photographer, Autumn De Wilde and features the song “Just You and Me” by Zee Avi.

Together, Woods and Manson dabble in their Sunday afternoon delights, providing just the right touch of cheeky pretentiousness, sexual chemistry, and coquettish charm. And you know what? They both make a whole array of glasses look damn fine. I’d love a pair myself!

Basically, I love everything about this. Job well done.
