Beyonce: Why Don’t You Love Me (Video Premiere)

“Why Don’t You Love Me” is a bonus track off of I Am…Sasha Fierce, co-written by Beyonce, her cousin Angie Beyince, and her coolest-of-cool sister, Solange Knowles.
As a treat to her fans, The Beysus has just released this promotional clip to accompany the song, which happened to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club charts back in February for no real reason at all (aside from being a very good song, of course).
Now the video happens to be off-the-charts amazing, but its brilliance isn’t altogether surprising: After all, it was directed by Melina, the same director responsible for Rihanna‘s “Rude Boy,” Ciara‘s “Work,” and Lady Gaga‘s “Just Dance” to name a few.
Aside from providing a smorgasbord of vintage visuals and signature Sasha Fierce-meets-Beysus pose and voguery, there’s a key moment here for all the fans who stan so hard for the bootylicious songstress. I bring it to you now in a .GIF I’ve just lovingly created:

Every time that I watch this it makes me love this woman so much more than i already do, which is a lot.
While miss Aguilera does futuristic porn music videos, Beyonce goes vintage and looks classy as hell doing it. She is too perfect.
Everytime I watch that part on Beyonce’s video where’she’s dusting off her 16 grammy awards, I know the haters are really going to be talking about Mrs.Beyonce now lolz!! But, hey who’s the only R&B artist aside from Aretha Franklin (who has 18 grammy awards)that can also dust off 16 grammy awards of his or her own??? Beyonce!!!!! To bad I can’t say the same for Jhud,monica,alicia keys,rihanna,fantasia,mary j blidge,keyshia cole,and etc!!!
Gorgeous woman … but this is just so self obsessed and narcissitic to qualify as art. I’ve gone off her! I mean she is so desperately trying to flauntv an oversexualised image and penetrate popular culture with this portrayal of her that it started to get boring. Yes she’s pretty but apart from writing in neon lights I want to be a ‘complete fantasy sex figure’ she acts as though she does n’t trust her vocal talents and is just being too arrogant for my tastes. I mean where is the mystique in a women who wants the world to know her body as intimately as her husband! Gross! @Granny I completely agree. I remember how wide my eyes were when she performed Single Ladies in a skimpy leotard and garter belt. She sang her butt off but seeing that much of her is making me think her intentions to be an icon is warped. I do not want my children idolizing an over sexed basically naked woman. I think she knows that her cut off date where she can remain relevant is approaching I am wondering when will she just opt to wear ass out pants, or a “classy” Playboy shoot

I dislike this video she is a disgrace to the female society especially for me being a young black girl who has followed her career. I think Beyonce has no class at all. I will never spend money on her tickets again, she looks like she is about to go on a street corner to sell herself how un-classy!!! No married women should do that!!! I would never want kids of a young age watching this I was 12yrs old when Destinys Child started now look at her!!!! She obviously has to try to get attention some how so peps dont get bored of her when she hits the big 30!!!! All my friends agree how Trashy this video is!!!!! A long long time ago Beyoncé used to make good music. However, after Deja Vu everything went downwards. I thought things couldn’t possibly get worse and yet they did. In this video Beyoncé looks like filthy trash. She is a successful and beautiful woman who does everything to hide that. She is as naked as she possibly can be, because… nudity sells? Why else would she undress like this? In this video she is also smoking and drinking. Nothing wrong with that, but combined with her running mascara it looks as if she is just drowning her misery. In this video (and in others) she shows no class at all and the lyrics are only good to shallow people who don’t know what the phrase ‘good lyrics’ means. Beyoncé delivers us the beginning of her further career as a prostitute and yet she wonders: “Why don’t you love me?”
And this is not to mention her duty as a role model. Beyoncé is an example for many young girls and what kind of an example does she give them? Getting half naked all the time, drinking, smoking… Is that what we want the young girls of our world to become? She (and I admit, many others) should think twice about the image they create. Being famous doesn’t mean you can act like a slut all the time, it comes with responsibility. During the better part of her career Beyoncé has taken this responsibility seriously and gave her fans beautiful and classy songs and videos. With this she is saying she doesn’t care about her responsibility and obligation towards her fans, she’s only after the money. (Acting like a classless whore sells, unfortunately.)
@ Cody: Yes, Christina Aguilera does not go vintage in her new video. She’s been there, done that, and did it with style. Not something we can say about Beyoncé, unfortunately.
I have no respect for Beyonce and to think the Obama’ children view her as a role model. She conducts herself as a prostitute short of a corner. Every time she performs, her breast and her behind are exposed. I’m tired of seeing videos of her caressing her breast and spanking her “nasty” behind. Her image is despicable; she has no respect for others or herself. How can a man want to marry her?
Beyonce lacks all class, and she is not entertaining. I expect her to be in a porn movie before her career is over. She dresses and acts like a whore and will do anything to remain a “household” name. When she first started singing, she was an entertainer. Now, she’s simply a tramp.

@ Anthony: I never said others don’t behave like whores and such. They do. Beyoncé is just really pushing it with this video. And sure, I can’t sing the way she does and never will, but that’s all I can come up with. I mean, I can pretend to be fixing a car with barely ano clothes on, no problem. Drinking, smoking and crying in the bedroom? I’m above that, but yes, I can do it. This is not me being jealous of Beyoncé. This is me being angry with her for helping to destroy everything women have built up over the years. I think Beyonce is so talented. The majority of her music videos are very creative and this certainly is one of them. I think this video is brilliant! It isn’t about her taking off her clothes for attention – it’s a story what looks like it is set maybe in the 1960′s 70′s. Beyonce is far from being a slut! Hmmm maybe there are some jealous women out there who feel they need to call her a slut rather than appreciate the fact she’s a stunning talented woman. I think the people calling this video and saying she looks trashy etc don’t really get what it is about…

I have always been a fan of hers and always will be. Someone was saying she was degrading as a black woman… I am a strong black woman and I don’t think that. People don’t understand that being an artist is just like acting. She is playing her roles and playing them well. I applaude her. Just like the movies.. if you don’t want your child watching her or listening.. take them to a cartoon….LOL!!!! She is definately not like other artist.. in which I love. I don’t want her to be the same as someone else. She appears to have a pure and kind heart outside of the music business. I will forever support because she does. That is what a fan is. If you don’t like her material stop watching or listening.. If you had never came on her to view her stuff..you would not be writing about her. Every CD that drops she shows her fans a different side of herself. She can be nasty, sexy, classy, a bad ass and professional at the same time. Her music is in every last one of us.
