I totally agree with you, this christina/gaga thing has gotten way out of hand, they are very different artists and people like Perez Hilton are putting them at odds with each other for silly reasons like hair styles. They’ve both worked hard for their success and are carving completely different career paths in my opinion, even with xtina’s new Bionic album it is looking to be a little more urban then what gaga generally puts out, with the exception of a few songs.

The annoying thing about this, you have all the gaga fans who were too young (not all were) to notice that Christina has always worn “outrageous” outfits since about 2001, and then the fact that it is just a coincidence that Aguilera and Gaga are both inspired by the future and the 70s’ at the moment. Who was here first…Christina…Why would you lose faith in someone who has survived 10 years and still young (29) to someone who has been around for 2 years. It just doesn’t make sense. Also, Christina is still around because of her talent not because of media hype and fashion.

There are so many people who just don’t understand that she changes her sound and image for every record. She will never do what she has done before. So many people are saying: Oh, I want the old Christina back. That people will be very disappointed, because SHE WON”T go back to her old sound and image. She loves to change, why does nobody understand that? During her Back to Basics tour she already considered making a futuristic album. And there’s no reason for her to not do that, just because Lady Gaga came up. She doesn’t want to start a fight, so why is everyone else trying to start a fight? There’s no reason for that. First, everyone compared her to Britney, now everyone compares her to Lady Gaga, and every other artist they could think of. She is even compared to Katy Perry. HELLO, what is everyone doing??? Christina is still Christina, but with another sound. So stop comparing and criticizing her!!
