And The Winner for Worst Album Cover of 2010 Goes To…

IS THIS REAL LIFE RIGHT NOW?

Above is the real and actual album cover for the ridiculously beautiful and famous Cheryl Cole‘s upcoming sophomore album, Messy Little Raindrops.

Not to be ‘a Cheryl hater,’ but this is literally one of the worst album covers I have ever seen in my entire life. Ever.

This is the best we could do, Polydor?

A poor man’s Photoshop motion blur smudged across her seemingly emaciated body and a cheap ‘handwritten’ font slapped on top in putrid orange? Not to mention the fact that the album title continues to be heinous.

This woman is beautiful. This woman takes STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHS. (Just look–every thumbnail on that site would literally make for a 5000% better cover over this one.)

Management: You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Even if the album’s bound to fly off the shelves anyway because she’s a national treasure, that doesn’t mean you can just throw your hands in the air and say ‘Fuck it!’ without putting in any actual effort whatsoever…DOES IT?!?!

In case anyone forgot (BECAUSE IT SURE FUCKING SEEMS LIKE THEY HAVE), THIS is what good cover art looks like.

Mess. Mess. Mess. Outrage and fuckery.
