Here at MuuMuse, we like certain things: Stilettos, sexy boys, high fashion, shadow play, things that are Russian, and dramatic shoulder pads. Luckily enough, the boys of Kazaky happen to come pre-packaged with all of these things.

Meet Kazaky, an up-and-coming Ukrainian boy band. Or, as their Facebook proudly decries in mangled English: “Shocking, sexy guys, showing an incredible combination of masculine beauty, plastics and choreography create a show that turns the mind.” Yes, exactly that.

The boys first caught notice back in October with “In The Middle,” a sweat-soaked show of hard-hitting B-boy choreography, Auto-Tuned squeals, and yes, men in high heels.

After conjuring a great deal of attention across the web for the song’s testosterone-fueled clip (over a million views!), the boys released their much anticipated follow-up yesterday: “Love.” (The video was initially meant to be released on Valentine’s Day, but held back due to technical difficulties. Broken heel, perhaps?)

Shot by Yevgeniy Timokhin (and not by Lady Gaga‘s director du jour Nick Knight as one might assume) and styled by Anna Osmekhina (and not Lady Gaga’s stylist Nicola Formichetti, as one might assume), the black-and-white video features even more dancing, more muscles, and more cheek bones. In summary: Think “Single Ladies,” but with more Soviet undertones.

“You want me, you love me, you hate me…I don’t care,” the boys whisper above the stinging, electro beat of “Love.” While the song itself remains staunchly so-so (not a reality show star’s one-off disco track, not yet a full-fledged pop single), the video is as undeniably fresh and fierce as their first.

In time, sociologists and other scholars may go on to credit this burgeoning group for re-conceptualizing the very spheres of masculine and feminine identity in modern society. But for now, I’m just going to opt for the Paris Hilton seal of approval and simply conclude: “That’s hot.”

xnx5c1 The Saturdays Perform New Song from Upcoming Album on The Headlines Tour, Turn Myself In

While The Saturdays have been busy trekking across the UK for The Headlines Tour at the moment, they’ve also been performing a brand new song from their upcoming album: “Turn Myself In.”

The power ballad, which was written and produced by Chris Braide and James Fauntleroy, sounds like a slightly more mature turn for the girls.

Much in the same vein as “Forever Is Over,” “Turn Myself In” is an emotional outpouring set atop a strong, stomping beat. “Turn myself in tonight, this is me coming clean with my hands up,” the girls cry out during the chorus.

Although we’ve only got camera/cell phone recordings to work with so far, “Turn Myself In” sounds like an instant smash. Hell, the chorus is already stuck in my head!

I seriously cannot wait to hear the studio version of this one!

In the meantime, check out the MuuMuse interview last year with producer Chris Braide right here.

Headlines was released in November. (iTunes UK)

Rihanna Drake Perform 2011 NBA All Star Game 500x336 Rihanna Performs with Drake and Kanye West at the NBA All Star Game Halftime Show

Last night, Princess Rihanna took center stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to perform at the NBA All Star Game halftime show.

Kicking off the event with an orchestral version of her 2007 worldwide smash, “Umbrella,” the fiery femme worked through a medley of her baddest new tunes, including “Only Girl (In The World)” and “Rude Boy.”

Then, as the opening notes of “What’s My Name?” kicked in, Drake popped up for a surprise delivery of his part on the track. “I switch it up ’cause I got something to say / We gon’ have some fun tonight, baby / Happy birthday!” Drake improvised at the end of his verse, reducing the Barbadian beauty to a fit of giggles and grins throughout the song.

And then–MORE SURPRISES! As the neon lights grew skittering and spastic, Kanye West rose from the stage for a surprise performance of “All Of The Lights,” featuring an assist from Lady RiRi. He absolutely smashed it–an amazing way to end the show!

Even though her vocals weren’t the greatest, the performance was still an absolute blast. OH! And…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RIRI!

AMAZING REMIX ALERT.

Last Monday, Jessie And The Toy Boys released her debut single, “Push It.”

Yesterday, Doctor Rosen Rosen unveiled his latest offering: A brand new remix of Jessie’s track!

Much as with his sensational remix of “Mirrors” by Natalia Kills, the Doctor Rosen Rosen mix prescribes the song with an extra chilly chill pill, adding some icy electronica, brooding synthesizers and even more vocal stutters and moans than ever before.

It’s absolutely brilliant–just what the doctor ordered!

In addition to the remix for “Push It,” Dr. Rosen Rosen worked with Jessie and the Toy Boys on some original tracks for her upcoming album. If the tracks are anything half as good as this remix, this is going to be one hell of a debut!

To download the mix, check out Doctor Rosen Rosen’s official website.

“Push It” was released on February 14. (iTunes)

Screen shot 2011 02 19 at 3.42.11 PM Kanye West: All Of The Lights (Video Premiere)

The video for Kanye West‘s “All Of The Lights,” one of the best tracks off of his sensational 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, has just premiered on VEVO.

Warning: MuuMuse will not be held responsible for any epileptic seizures caused during the viewing of this clip.

Taking a cue from the track’s title, the Hype Williams-directed clip for Kanye’s star-studded track kicks storytelling to the curb in favor of neon-colored on-screen lyrics and bright, flashing lights coming in from every direction.

Rihanna, as usual, looks absolutely incredible in her all-too-brief cameo (as does Kid Cudi!) Apart from that however, the video of “All Of The Lights” is nothing short of a disappointment; a wasted opportunity for a truly MASSIVE song.

There’s no plot nor any particularly impressive visuals, and there’s only a handful of appearances by the song’s many contributing vocalists. What gives? It seems as though Kanye was simply reaching too far (or more accurately, not nearly far enough) in attempting to create art with this clip.

I’ll be remembering this song with its appearance on West’s incredible 30 minute mini-epic, “Runaway,” instead.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was released on November 22. (iTunes)

britney spears 2004 David LaChappelle 4 Daily B: Dr. Luke Unveils Snippet of New Femme Fatale Track, Inside Out

Dr. Luke is one sneaky snake.

While the rest of the world was out at da club getting hay-zay and popping it like a hood to “Hold It Against Me” last night, the pop producer decided to leak a brand new 15-second snippet of “Inside Out,” one of the upcoming tracks from Britney‘s Femme Fatale.

“Come on, can’t you give me something to remember? Baby, shut your mouth and turn me inside out,” B yelps above the glittering, spacey dub-step beat. Sounds like some next level ish so far! Also–vocals? HELLO!

Is this one of the few mid-tempos she said was going to make the record? I think so!

The song uses one of the beats that producer Billboard showed off during the 2009 iStandard Beat Battle in Pheonix. Check out the video and fast-forward to the 4:31 mark. This is what “Inside Out” is going to sound like, y’all!

I JUST WANT MOAH.

Femme Fatale will be released on March 29. (iTunes)
