EDIT: I’ve altered the phrasing from “performance” to “appearance” in this post until a performance is officially confirmed, but that being said: A camera crew? A live audience? What do you THINK she’s going to do…stand there and court her adoring fans for an hour?

So, so incredibly exciting! I hope this goes down like her secret club performances during the In The Zone era!

Remember her killer performance of “Me Against The Music” at the Palms Casino 8 years ago? Let’s revisit!

kazaky Kazaky Perform Love at Ukrainian Fashion Week

MuuMuse’s favorite Ukranian high-heeled hotties Kazaky are back with a brand new performance…and it’s sick!

The muscly foursome performed their new single “Love” (as well as “In The Middle”) at Anouki Bicholla‘s FW 2011/2012 show during Ukraine’s Fashion Week as the models walked the runway.

But before the fashion show began, Kazaky took to the catwalk to deliver a stiletto-sharp opening routine, complete with some truly fancy footwork…and even a leg lift! Ferocious!

Pussycat Dolls‘ ex-member Kimberly Wyatt must be so pissed right now.

OOMM Murder On The Dance Floor: Tyson Out Of My Mind

How ’bout a slice of disco to kick start your Monday morning?

After the release of his debut single “Die On The Dance Floor” in February, London-based artist Tyson returns with his second single: “Out Of My Mind.”

“Out Of My Mind” plays like its been scrapped up from the Studio 54 dance floor in 1978 and nursed back to health with a few new bangin’ beats (much like Scissor Sisters recent disco-era revitalization project, Night Work), resulting in an utterly infectious modern disco stomper.

“I wanted to make something horrible and very, very nasty, so when people heard it they would say ‘urgh’ but in a good way,” Tyson says of his new single.

Well, mission complete: This one had me moaning for all the right reasons.

“Out Of My Mind” was released on March 21. (iTunes)

I could cry…this is my BAYBEH right here!

Britney just TwitPic’ed a shot of herself from the set of “Till The World Ends” after having wrapped a major dance sequence.

The upcoming video is being shot by Ray Kay, the director responsible for Cheryl Cole‘s “Fight For This Love,” Adam Lambert‘s “For Your Entertainment,” and Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair” amongst other amazing clips.

According to a Sony sales sheet, the video is due for release on April 6.

The sick, studded leather studded jacket…the ripped tights…the UGGS! MY QUEEN!

ditd 010 w copy Bjork to Perform New Songs from Upcoming Studio Album Biophilia at Manchester International Festival

OKAY. FREAKING OUT.

Björk is about to unveil the next chapter of her musical career with an “extraordinary immersive project” to be featured during a 3-week residency at the Manchester International Festival.

During her stay, Björk will be holding 6 live concerts in which the Icelandic goddess will perform brand new songs from her upcoming studio album, entitled Biophilia. Um…AMAZING! (Fact: Björk has the BEST album titles…ever.)

From Dazed Digital:

The world premiere of Björk’s Biophilia live show will be held at Manchester International Festival for a three-week residency – across six intimate shows in the Campfield Market Hall for audiences of 1800, as her first UK dates in over three years. For these six special shows, Björk will be performing new tracks from the forthcoming Biophilia studio album as well as with a small group of unique musical collaborators. The show will feature a range of specially conceived and crafted instruments, among them a bespoke digitally-controlled pipe organ; a 30 foot pendulum that harnesses the earth’s gravitational pull to create musical patterns – creating a unique bridge between the ancient and the modern; a bespoke gamelan-celeste hybrid; and a one-off extraordinary pin barrel harp.

In a special collaboration with MIF, the Biophilia live show will travel to major cities around the world following the Manchester premiere. MIF will also be working with young people in Manchester to explore the musicological, scientific and technological ideas behind the project. In a series of educational workshops schoolchildren will be given the unique opportunity to experience the world of Biophilia first hand, and to immerse themselves in the endlessly rich and inspiring place where cutting edge technology, music and nature meet.

New studio album? Traveling tour featuring educational workshops for schoolchildren? GRAVITATIONAL PULL PENDULUM INSTRUMENTS? Hold me…because I really can’t.

tumblr lhhzfwMhbZ1qey674o1 500 Daily B: Britney Talks to Rolling Stone About Femme Fatale

LITERALLY SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND STOP YOUR ENTIRE LIFE RIGHT NOW.

Rolling Stone has just published an interview with Britney Spears about her upcoming album Femme Fatale…and it’s the best interview she’s given yet. One word e-mail answers no more!

Some particular highlights:

What was your idea for the overall sound of this album?

I wanted to make a fresh-sounding album for the clubs or something that you play in your car when you’re going out at night that gets you excited but I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now. I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there which was really fun.

Dr. Luke said last fall that “I want [the sound] to get harder in some ways, and maybe a little more deep into electronic — grimier.” Did you have that same agenda for the album? Do you feel like you accomplished that?

When we first sat down to talk about Femme Fatale I knew I wanted to make a dance album that was ahead of everything else out there but unique to me which is why I was so picky with the recording process. I only wanted songs that I immediately connected to. I also wanted to make sure that this album was completely different from Circus or anything else I had ever recorded. I love Circus but I wanted something darker and edgier. I also wanted to make an album and didn’t want to just record a bunch of songs and put them together. I think Femme Fatale is really connected from start to finish.

How would you characterize the studio relationship between Max and Dr. Luke?
They are two peas in a pod. It’s a total bromance.

You MUST read the entire interview, in which she name drops Deadmau5, Robyn and Adele (!!!) and talks in-depth about her relationship with the album’s co-executive producers, Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

These answers have seriously given me an all new appreciation for Femme Fatale. It’s so amazing to see her talking about music in an in-depth, engaged manner!
