Listen to the Original Version of Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You” by Australian Singer Che’Nelle

Although the song hasn’t even been confirmed for the tracklisting of Kelly Clarkson‘s upcoming fifth studio album, fans are already clamoring for “What Doesn’t Kill You”–just one of the handful of tracks that have leaked from her latest recording sessions.

However, what fans may not already know is that the song already exists. Well, sort of.

“What Doesn’t Kill You” is an (as-of-now) unreleased track recorded months ago by Aussie pop star, Che’Nelle.

Featuring slightly retooled lyrics and entirely different production, Che’Nelle’s “What Doesn’t Kill You” is a much smoother, chilled out electro-R&B offering in comparison to the rocky rendition we’ve already heard from Clarkson–very much in line with the lush production of Nicole Scherzinger‘s own smash hit empowerment anthem, “Don’t Hold Your Breath.”

While the Malaysian-born songstress’ version may lack that oomph of attitude that only Clarkson can provide, Che’Nelle’s own take on the track is absolutely worth a play or two…in fact, it’s pretty amazing in its own right!

Thanks to Muuser Calen C. for the find!
