Queen of Hearts Releases Amazing Synth-Pop Cover of Ben Howard’s “Only Love”

The certifiably incredible Queen of Hearts, whom I first introduced back in May with her Neon/Tears In The Rain EP, is back to re-assert her position on the throne.

Before the release of her EP of new material in September, the UK electro-pop songstress has just unleashed a s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g cover of Ben Howard‘s“Only Love.” Mizz Heart’s rendition takes the acoustic guitar-led original, replaces the core with a thick, juicy slab of shimmering Robyn-esque synth-pop, wraps it in dreamy electronica and tops it all off with some heaven-sent coos. The result? Something truly divine.

Now I just need Queen of Hearts to release a cover of Stacey Q‘s “Two of Hearts,” and my life will truly be complete. Or at least my pop card deck.

The new Queen of Hearts EP will be released in September. (iTunes)
