After giving our hearts a break — and subsequently providing us with a jolt of a “Heart Attack” — the former Disney princess has completed the next step in her transformation from tween queen to teenage dream by revealing the cover art for her upcoming album, titled simply Demi. (You know, a certain other Disney pop princess-turned-Queen of Pop did the same with her coming-of-age album back in 2001.)
Demi’s giving us shades (or rather, shimmers) of Marina And The Diamonds “I Am Not A Robot” with her glitter-glam skin bared for all to see, suggesting that she’s getting raw and real — and remaining fabulous while doing so. (Here’s hoping the special/deluxe edition cover actually glitters.)
With the almighty return of Selegend just days away, as well as the premiere of Miss Demi’s “Heart Attack” video, it seems that April’s about to be dominated by former Disney pop royalty.
