Paris Hilton Promises New Album This Summer (Again) on Cash Money Records

It’s been well over two years since Simple Life starlet, “Drunk Text” chanteuse and Franchise Unveiling Queen of the Middle East (FUQ ME) Paris Hilton first promised us a taste of her new House-inspired record. It never came out.

Her rumored lead single, “After Midnight,” never came out either — nor did the song that supposedly featured LMFAO.

Then, she broke up with her boyfriend/executive producer Afrojack and a song from her sophomore record sessions, “Last Night,” leaked.

But now — maybe, just maybe — nothing in this world will stop Paris’ sophomore record from happening tonight.

Last weekend, Paris and her entourage showed up at the Hotel du Cap in Cap d’Antibes after a day at Cannes, where she’s been promoting The Bling Ring, the movie about the awful teens who burglarized a string of celebrity homes…including that of Miss Paris. (Not to be confused with Ke$ha, who threw up in her closet.)

According to Showbiz 411’s Roger Friedman, who ran into the “Screwed” socialite at the party, the wait for new music may soon be over:

But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer. The album release will be preceded by Paris doing a residency playing records (digital tracks) this summer in Ibiza, Spain–which also happens to be the hometown of her eleven years younger male model boyfriend named River. “This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris told me. “It’s really going to be house music.”

That’s right: The iconic “Turn It Up” songstress is coming to Cash Money Records.

An album full of “hip hop acts,” including Lil Wayne? This sounds a whole lot like Britney‘s Blackout 2.0: It Gets Urbaner to me. Of course, Paris already knows her way around a rapper or two: Who could possibly forget Paris“Fighting Over Me” with Jadakiss and Fat Joe?

The signs were already there, too: Earlier this month, YMCMB co-founder Birdman‘s “Tapout,” which features the Handbags & Accessories Hottie staging a heist (BLING RING IRONY ALERT) with The Voice social media correspondant and low-dipper, Christina Millian.

Everything sounds unbelievably exciting, but remember: We were promised the same thing last year. And the year before.

Please don’t lie to us, Paris: I can’t keep going with this hunger strike much longer. The stars are growing ever blinder with each passing day, and soon enough, I’ll be screwed.
