Oops! She did it again: Róisín Murphy, disco’s sneakiest songstress, just appeared out of nowhere.
Back in April, Murphy lent her sultry vocals to Boris Dlugosch for their funky disco collaboration, “Look Around You.”
Now, the “Let Me Know” Irish dance floor goddess returns with a new song alongside Hot Natured, a House musique troupe featuring Ali Love and Luca C. (If you’ll recall, Miss Murphy collaborated with Luca C. previously on the unbelievably fresh “Flash of Light.”)
“Alternate State” — much like the best of Overpowered — is nothing short of feel good, future-leaning disco. “An alternate state / Alternative ways / Uncover a new sensation, yeah / Discover my true potential,” the songstress sensually coos. Discover me, Ramon!
This one ought to melt your popsicles while you squeeze in a few more weeks of summertime sun.
