Queen Kylie Minogue has returned to us! Well, sort of.
Prolific Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini is gearing up to release her new greatest hits collection in November, 20 – The Greatest Hits. (If you haven’t already heard of her, she’s absolutely massive overseas — over 14 Top 10 singles in Italy and the first Italian singer to win a Grammy, among other achievements.)
For the first single from the compilation, Pausini decided to enlist none other than the Mighty Aphrodite herself, the one and only Kylie Minogue, for a duet called “Limpido,” which dropped last month.
The rock-tinged track sees the two to alternate verses (and languages!) effortlessly, belting it out above a guitar-led melody. It’s a great vocal moment for Kylie — and a refreshing sound for her, considering she’s been busy burning up the dance floor for years. (It’s a little bit Lillith Fair/Impossible Princess-era, right? Way into it.)

Watch above as Kylie and Laura trade off screen time to twirl and pose like glamorous goddesses before going in a glittery dip in one of Ke$ha‘s bathtubs. Oh, what blessed liquid!
While Kylie’s still hard at work sorting out the details of her upcoming twelfth studio album, this is the perfect way to remind us all why she’s such a timeless gem — like a pure white diamond, if you will.
