The Album Cover of Lady Gaga’s ‘ARTPOP’ Looks Exactly Like What You Would Expect The Album Cover of Lady Gaga’s ‘ARTPOP’ To Look Like

Hey, remember Lady Gaga?

I know. With all the Miley Bangerz mania happening lately, you might have forgotten that she’s got a brand new album coming out in November called ARTPOP. (You might have also forgotten that she already premiered roughly half the album live during her fantastic iTunes Showcase in London about 30 million years ago.)

Today, Mother Monster/Sister Swine decided to gift her Little Monsters with the accompanying cover art — broadcasted live on billboards and jumbotrons across the world or whatever.

So, here’s the thing: Gaga seriously loves pushing things out of her vajeen. She’s a birthing stan! She’s already given birth once in “Born This Way.” She did it again on the Born This Way Ball. And this time? She’s popping one out on the cover of ARTPOP. That’s right…

SHE GAVE BIRTH TO A WRECCCCCCCKING BALLLLL.

No, silly! It’s one of Jeff Koons‘ stainless steel balloon mirror ball things. Why? Because pop is art and art is pop and one second I’m a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is in the middle of Lady Gaga’s new album cover. MARINA ABRAMOVIC. REVERSE WARHOLIAN EXPEDITION. JUST STOP ASKING QUESTIONS.

I know I should pretend to be outraged by the sheer messiness of it all, but obviously it was going to be messy. We already shot that WTF-wad all over the Born This Way album artwork. This — this is sort of perfect, right? It’s got some Botticelli, some Koons, some Stefani Germanotta and some default Photoshop patterns library realness all mixed into one #ARTPOP kaleidoscope. It’s a beautiful disaster, as American poetess Kelly Clarkson would say.

It is both #ART and #POP. It is #colorful and #pretty and distinctly the work of Gaga. I like it!

But what do I know, anyway? After all, I am BUT A LOWLY MUSIC BLOGGER.

ARTPOP will be released on November 11. (iTunes)
