#PhuckYoGreekMythology: Rihanna Goes Medusa for ‘British GQ’ December Issue

After embarking on the Diamonds World Tour all year long (which is still going!), Illuminati Instagram Navy Commander Rihanna is slowly but surely getting back into business in the final few months of 2013. She already rih-defined ratchetry with the murky, twerk-happy video for “Pour It Up,” and now, she’s preparing to drop her Unapologetic mega-ballad, “What Now.”

But while she’s #phocusing on music, she’s also been taking photos. (Duh.) Lots of ’em! She’s been serving sacrilegious glamour in front of mosques and turning sunbathing into a competitive sport in Greece. And beyond her own Instagram, she’s also been posing for the covers of magazines.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, British GQ enlisted the Barbadian beauty to do work (bitch) on the cover of their December issue, shot by acclaimed artist Damien Hirst. And work she does! Far from a typical smoldering set-up in glam couture, the “G4L” diva finds herself butt naked in the glossy spread, covered by snakes — Medusa style. There aren’t too many pop stars out there in this day and age willing to brave the mighty serpent (apart from living legends like Britney Spears and Dannii Minogue), but RiRi proves herself fearless and fierce enough to give you that serpent sexuality.

And there you have it, RiRi gone monstah! Beware, rude boys — don’t look directly into her eyes…
