Hilary Duff Did Something With A Pop Songwriting Dream Team, So That’s Promising

Whether you’re chasing the sun or nah this summer, Hilary Duff has a little something new up her sleeves.

Earlier today, the Santa Claus Lane pop goddess revealed that she’s got a “little secret” something in the works, tagging Carl Falk, Savan Kotecha and Kristian Lundin — all of whom are frequent songwriting collaborators.

Carl Falk is essentially responsible, along with Savan, for the global success of One Direction, from “What Makes You Beautiful” to “One Thing” to “Kiss You,” as well as Nicki Minaj‘s “Starships.” Beyond 1D, Savan Kotecha’s had a hand in penning everything from Ariana Grande‘s “Problem” to Britney‘s “I Wanna Go” to, quite importantly, Lindsay Lohan‘s “Symptoms Of You.” And of course, Swedish pop songwriting icon Kristian Lundin’s responsible for Britney’s “Born To Make You Happy” (and the #TBT today, “Where Are You Now”), along with ‘N SYNC‘s “Bye Bye Bye” and Backstreet Boys‘ “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart).”

So basically, that is a whole lot of fucking talent in one tune.

Stay tuned…
