“Fuck With You”: Pia Mia Gives Us A Good Ol’ Thirst Anthem

Sophie Ellis-Bextor once wanted to fuck with you. And now, Pia Mia does too.

About to comment with a “Who”? Educate yourself first, you troll: The Guam-born (!) 18-year-old pop princess first ‘made waves’ by going viral over a year ago with her melodic on-the-spot cover of Drake‘s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” while seated at a dinner table with The Kardashian Klan, Kanye West and Drake, which is a Completely Normal And Casual Thing To Do. She then signed to Interscope Records and dropped an EP earlier this year in February called The Gift, a solid collection of catchy #SomethingMoreUrban pop gems and R&B ballads. (Seriously obsessed with “Complicated,” still.) Also, she is responsible for one-half of “Bubblegum Boy,” otherwise known as THE GREATEST POP SONG OF THE DECADE.

Today, she’s taken her seduction skills to the next level with the impressively straightforward, #unapologetically thirsty new single, “Fuck With You.” (Her very own #BreakTheInternet moment, if you will.)

Produced by NicNac (who also did Chris Brown‘s “Loyal,” which is probably why it sounds like “Loyal”), the slick urban jam finds Princess Pia in lust witchu. See, unlike Big Sean, she does want to fuck with you. The track’s sort of like the sex-starved cousin of Tinashe‘s “2 On” — y’know, the who decided to stay home instead of going out to the club with Slaynashe to get full-on freaky with her new boyfriend instead.

No idea how she’s going to break into Top 40 radio with a #phuckfilled cut like this, but hey…meet your needs, Pia.

“Fuck With You” was released on November 18. (iTunes)
