SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE FUCK UP RIGHT NOW BECAUSE LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
AHHHHHH!
The Living Legend knows what the hot gossip is with the kids these days. She knows we spend our lives all up in the blogs and the Tumblr, just .GIF-ing our hearts away instead of forming actual relationships with other human beings.
That is exactly why the Holy Spearit has just begun (having her fun) by granting us some blessed gifts on her Twitter account: “Criminal” .GIFs that give us just a ‘lil tease of the upcoming video, due out sometime later this week.
Over the past few hours, Brit Brit’s been uploading some different Twitter avatars from the Chris Marrs Piliero-directed video (“I Wanna Go”) that are nothing less than absolutely stunning, flawless and iconic, including a quick turn in a gorgeous evening gown, some “3″-like Hairwhipney, and even some “My Prerogative”-esque shadowy smooches.
EDIT: Two more .GIFs added! Um, that doorway glance? I CANNOT EVEN BREATHE. BOMBSHELLNEY!!!
Honestly, it’s all so very glamorous and Femme Fatale-y. It’s like a James Bond film…but better. I don’t. I can’t. It’s too much to handle for mere mortals. How can we cope? We must. We must cope, and we must live to see the final video.
2011: YEAR OF THE SPEARS.
“Criminal” was released on September 30. (iTunes)
First of all: Happy B In The Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2 Release Day, y’all! Have you bought your copy yet?
Okay, so who else is excited for our Femme Fatale’s upcoming concert special? OH MY GOD, ME TOO. I’ve literally been institutionalized at least seventeen and a half times for the insomnia/delirium/advanced night terrors I keep bringing upon myself just by staying up to think about the tour. That’s not weird, right? Okay, good.
Earlier today, EPIX released the full trailer for Britney‘s upcoming special due to premiere on November 12: Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour. Let’s watch it right now!
The clip gives us just a teensy glimpse into the Living Legend’s 2-night spectacle from Toronto earlier this summer, including tour video interludes, some iconic crowd interaction (“I can’t hear you!”) and brief flashes of performances–including “I’m A Slave 4 U,” “Up & Down,” “Toxic” and “Till The World Ends.”
But the best part of all? “Now watch me…” MMPH!
Well, thank Godney that her fans are so incredibly insane dedicated–because we’ve already got a .GIF!
Mark your calendars and cancel everything in your entire life: November 12 at 8 PM is where it’s at!
2011: YEAR OF THE SPEARS.
YouTube user VJ4rawr has just uploaded an animated lyric video set to Britney‘s brand new Femme Fatale single “Criminal,” and it’s the most amazing thing….EVER.
Set inside a Fantasy-like forest, the camera pans toward a magical storybook called Twisted Fairy Tales, which flips to reveal the tale: The lyrics to our beloved Godney’s “Criminal.”
As the story’s told, the Living Legend gets the storybook treatment as two or three dozen characters–from an Arabian princess, to Rapunzel, to a swashbuckling pirate wench, to the Bride of Frankenstein, to Marie Antoinette, to Cleopatra, to the Bonnie to her Clyde, to…well, everything in between!
Plus, there’s even photos and videos from the Living Legend’s own repertoire thrown into the mix, all smartly bound together to create one action-packed read before bedtime. But will it be a happy ever after? You’ll just have to watch and see!
This is too cute and so incredibly well crafted. The illustrations are really incredible!
For Britney fans and animation geeks alike, this is sort of the holy grail. Bravo, VJ4rawr!
“Criminal” was released to radio on October 4. (iTunes)
Thanks to Muuser Chris S. for sending me this video!
It’s here! It’s real!
The official single mix of “Criminal,” Britney‘s upcoming Femme Fatale single, has just been uploaded to Britney’s VEVO account–and yes, it does differ slightly from the album version!
The changes are pretty subtle–the main beat bangs a little bit harder, more prominent electronica and guitar, and there’s a more urban touch to the overall production with the addition of some hip-hop friendly drum loops. Another notable difference? The backing vocals have been boosted during the final chorus, showing off some previously unheard vocals. Neat!
While I don’t know how much this ever-so-slightly more radio friendly mix will help or hinder the commercial success of “Criminal,” I think it’s just as hot as the original–if not better! Here’s hoping it takes off on Top 40 radio.
In the meantime: Have you bagged yourself a bad boy yet to come stick up a convenience store with you? Well, get ready…the “Criminal” video should be headed our way soon!

It’s Britishney, bitch…NOW PALMS TO THE SKY!
Either Brit Brit‘s got a taste for the life of larceny after 2007′s Lighter-gate, or she’s just begun shooting the video for her upcoming fourth Femme Fatale single, “Criminal”!
The above photos have just surfaced from over in Londontown where the Holy Spearit is currently engaging in a whirlwind promotional tour on dozens of TV programs and radio stations to promote the Femme Fatale Tour overseas, including a pre-tour launch party on Friday night.
Looking like the ravishing Femme Fatale from her tour, Britishney and her real-life beau Jason Trawick were seen running around a store while brandishing a big fat bass pistol. I don’t know, seems like this girl’s up to no good…just be careful where you point that thing, Brit Brit!
AND THIS TYPE OF LOVE ISN’T RATIONAL…
Didn’t see Britney‘s Femme Fatale Tour?
Or maybe you did go, but you were totally in the bathroom practicing your “Hold It Against Me” chair choreography one last time while the show was starting?
Or perhaps like me, you stood with your camera held high attempting to videotape the entire intro video but failed because you were too overcome by all your shaking and crying/getting jostled by glitter-drenched tweens squeezing into their seats at the last minute so instead you just spend your days staying up all night watching fan videos from other concerts on YouTube until 5 A.M. even though you have work in the morning desperately searching for the most high quality version of them all so that you can truly cherish Assassiney in the crispest, clearest quality possible?
THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER.

I’M NOT THAT INNOCENT.
