Sources have claimed that Britney’s latest single will be “Break The Ice.” Despite my doubt, a new scan has surfaced on the StarsVIP forums, courtesy of BMK. Granted, this could be fake, but the detailing is pretty specific. Additionally, a radio rip and instrumental leaked today, suggesting that this is truly the upcoming release. Regardless, she’s not ready for anything promotion wise, but if I had to choose, “Break The Ice” would be by far the least ironic single to release. “Hot As Ice” is riddled with pompous lyrics that could only be sung by the healthiest, tip-toppiest of shape entertainer. Not now, but soon…

It’s funny how much can happen in only a day’s time. The situation in this case…not as funny.

Britney Spears has been admitted into psychiatric ward over at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles for almost a full day. As of right now, Britney is in good health and spirits, at least for the moment. The entire process that broke out last night was apparently orchestrated by Spears’ family. All the events, including the police choppers, barricades, and motorcycle motorcades, were planned out prior to the event according to People magazine. There was a fear that she would attempt to flee with one of her many boyfriend/paparazzo scums, so the situation was covered from all angles. With nowhere to run, Britney obliged and checked into the medical center.

Sadly, the backbone of this intervention seems to be crumbling more than ever, as the bickering begins to go public. Sam has gone on record regarding his feud with the family in a text message to Access Hollywood saying: “Her mother is not someone who cares about her daughter, she’s only concerned with herself. Sad but true. She was too busy getting a manicure to come over yesterday, despite her daughters (sic) pleas. Sad, very sad.” Reports from X17 as well as other news outlets claim that Lynne is highly suspicious of Britney’s newfound friend, Sam, and his intentions. Don’t forget that somewhere in the mix, Adnan is also involved.

After the 72-hour review that is to take place, as well as possible further analysis, there is some debate as to what will be done next. Lynne would like to bring Britney back home, according to Britney’s lawyer, Michael Flannagan, “Lynne is extremely concerned for her daughter and would like to take Britney back home to Louisiana and get her out of Hollywood.” On the flip side, Sam and Co. probably have other plans. The fact of the matter is that Britney is still unbalanced mentally, as it has almost fully been confirmed that she does have bipolar syndrome. It’s evident that she does not have her emotions in balance, and any decision she does make may be made during another one of her manic episodes that we’ve all seen.

I know that I just want her to be stable again. I don’t know what or who that requires to do the job, but someone must step in for her when she is no longer able to defend or control herself. Maybe Sam is right, and he’s doing what’s best (doubtful). I still believe in the goodness of her family, but I can’t help but remain doubtful. Fame may have tainted the family’s relationship beyond repair. Despite all of this, Britney is where she needs to be right now and is currently getting the medical attention necessary for her own good. I’m rooting for you, darling.

Britney Spears has reportedly attempted to commit suicide according to X17. Her mother is on the way, along with an ambulance. The entrance has been closed off. It is now 2:40 EST. Reports are still coming in…

According to Lynne, the emergency was not an attempted suicide. Still, that doesn’t clear up the whole police car line up looming outside the gates of Britney’s home. I’m sure more details will surface tomorrow, but for now, whatever has happened is no longer being classified as a suicide attempt.

EDIT 2: After all the madness from last night, it appears that the event was what TMZ had been referring to as the “creative intervention.” Last night, Britney’s psychiatrist called from within the home to have her committed. She is currently being held for at least 72 hours after showing signs of not sleeping for over two days. It seems that Sam Lutfi was blocked from the entire process (thank God) and that Adnan was allowed to come in with Lynne Spears (fuck).

The details are still fuzzy, but it appears that Sam and Britney had a falling out outside of Britney’s home a few hours ago. Adnan was called and attempted to enter the premises, but was denied. As Britney sat crying and playing with her dog London, another paparazzo/friend Felipe drove up and scooped her out of the situation. She is now headed toward Beverly Hills. No word on what they’re up to, but I can’t imagine it’s anything promising.

I’m assuming the blowout was due to Britney’s association with Adnan. Who can she trust? No one.

EDIT 1: The situation has gotten worse, and Britney has somehow returned home. With her are her parents. She has not seen her mother in over a year.

EDIT 2: Britney has somehow wiggled her way out of the home, and into Adnan’s car. They’re now Bonnie and Clyding it out of there on the freeway at 100 MPH, according to x17.

EDIT 3: Now that more time has passed, details have arisen regarding the fight. It seems the police were called because of the swarm of paparazzi, and for no other reason. Additionally, the picture evidence suggests it was Sam fighting with Britney. This image of Sam’s phone has surfaced, allegedly a conversation between Sam and Adnan.

Yes, yes! Finally, some creepy stalker video of Britney dancing…semi-properly! The footage features the camera man using some reflective device to stalk Britney in her supposed private room at Millenium Dance Studios. It gets really hot at the end…she’s somehow putting on her clothes as she dances…which for Britney is a bit opposite of what she’s used to doing in the past. Regardless, there’s a glimmer of the dancer that I know and love. Oh yeah, and her boobies fall out a bit. Frankly, I’d rather see them flopping out during a dance move than a Starbuck’s run anyday.
