Britney Spears’s former manager, Larry Rudolph, is coy about reports that the two are back in business together – but says he’s met with the pop star recently and is happy to report she’s “in great shape.”
“I’ve seen her a few times over the past week or two. I’ve spent some time with her just socially. I’ve gone up to the house. I’ve sat with her. She’s in great shape,” he said Thursday while promoting his latest project, Rock the Cradle, on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show. “I couldn’t be happier to see the condition she’s in. But this is not a time to talk about business with her.”
Addressing Spears’s recent troubles, Rudolph said: “What she needs now is she needs the public to be on her side and root for her, because she deserves it and that means a lot to her.”
One thing’s clear: Rudolph is in Spears’s corner. He praised her recent appearance on How I Met Your Mother, and told Seacrest that if he was advising Spears, he’d suggest that she “do another little thing like that” soon.
When Seacrest asked about other forces back in the singer’s life – namely her parents – Rudolph replied: “She needs people around her who are there for the right reasons.”
In terms of Spears’s future, he said “I can’t think of a situation where somebody’s been set up for a bigger comeback than that girl.”
Larry’s one to truly know when Britney’s ready to come back. He’s been with her throughout the entirety of her career in the past ten years. Surely this is yet another step in the right direction…She’s recovering.
According to early reports from the gossip rags, Larry Rudolph (Brit‘s former manager) was rumored to have taken Britney back under his wing over the past week. Now, credible sources have confirmed the story such as People Magazine.
Tomorrow, Larry is showing up to Access Hollywood on Wednesday to speak about his new show, Rock the Cradle, as well as Britney. Undoubtedly, this will confirm or deny the reports. Let’s hope that they’ve settled their differences and have decided to work together again. Their rift created the start of her decline, and I know that a reunion would only result in success.
EDIT: Abort hope. The announcement of his interview was taken off their website. All hell has re-broken loose.
But you know what is major? Not only did she manage to bring How I Met Your Mother it’s highest rated episode ever, but last night’s episode ranked as the fourth most watched program of the night. Power of B.
Additionally, Brit was spotted at Alleycat Recording Studio yesterday afternoon. No word on what that was all about yet, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.
EDIT: According to various reports, Fabolous was called into the studio to work on an upcoming track for Miss Britney Spears! Though they didn’t record together, Fabolous says he was called in by her management to make a track for her “forthcoming album.” After some speculation, fans have come to the conclusion that it’s really just the vocals for the newest “Break The Ice” remix ft. Fabolous, which you can hear right here.
In celebration of things to come, I present a serving of “Break The Ice”-ness. It’s more than you can shake a defroster at, that’s for sure.

Did everyone watch the South Park episode on Wednesday? If you haven’t, it’s right here. It’s absolutely essential, and perfectly frames the situation within America regarding our society’s sick obsession with Britney Spears that I am completely perpetuating with the very publication of the Daily B.
Luckily, I write from the perspective of a super fan who, as anyone who knows me can attest to, would have certainly ran a Daily B way before the paparazzi rush ever began. So, for better or for worse, I’m still going, because she’s still my muse. Deal.
Now then, where were we? Oh yes, Britney Spears. She’s on How I Met Your Mother tonight–looking foxy and reading scripts. Not a major character, so don’t set yourselves up for too many scenes–just in good fun, nothing else. She also spent Easter weekend down in Manhattan Beach, where she surprisingly maintained some anonymity during her stay, minus a few shots from the hotel room windows. She returned home yesterday. Otherwise, that’s about it. All’s quiet on the Spears front right now, and thankfully so.
EDIT: Now check out the sneak peek video! She manages to mention sex and shopping in just nineteen seconds! Brilliant!
