Kate Havnevik Delivers “Mouth 2 Mouth” (Single Review)
Of all the Norwegian electronica chanteuses in the world, Kate Havnevik is probably my favorite. I first discovered Havnevik back in 2006 with her debut record Melankton, a dreamy collection of electronica-infused tunes produced by ...
Madonna‘s Confessions on a Dance Floor is one of the few records that truly changed my life.
As a result, I’m never one to shy away from a chance to mention that glorious, disco-encrusted masterpiece.
Since there’s never really a time where a Madonna remix isn’t called for, I present the Monsieur Adi remix of “Get Together”–a brand new re-rub of the song that found its way into my inbox earlier this morning (and appropriately appeared on HardCandyMusic yesterday!)
The Monsieur Adi mix of Madonna’s third single from Confessions takes the BPM of the original down considerably, glitching out Madge’s vocals and adding in slow waves of electronica, moody synthesizers and extra dramatic string flares. Download: Madonna – Get Together (Monsieur Adi Remix)
“Get Together” was originally released on May 30, 2006. (iTunes)
Last week, MuuMuse excluusively premiered the audio stream of Temposhark‘s new single, “Bye Bye Bye.”
This week? Why, a free remix of course!
Check below to enjoy the excellent Monsieur Adi mix–a pumping, synthy affair that suits the original track quite well.
PS: If you haven’t already seen the video, check it out now. It’s all sorts of Twilight-friendly fun. TEAM JACOB!!! Wait, what?
