It seems that over the past few months since we’ve last heard from her, Cherrytree darling Mizz Natalia Kills has found herself a handsome suitor to shack up with and enjoy all for herself. Sounds like it’s all ponies and rainbows and marshmallows for Ms. Kills now, right? And they’re both going to live happily ever after…

Just kidding: She wants to kill him. She wants to kill him DEAD.

In the murderous new clip for Kills’ latest rampage, the dark-pop princess sharpens her knives and…fetches a few gallons of milk?!

That’s right! To do out the dirty deed, the sneaky songstress takes to doling out some serious punishment, lactose style. If you think the lead in Brit Brit‘s “I Wanna Go” video got the milky shower treatment, think again–this is an all-out moo-sacre.

You’ve got to love Kills’ dagger-sharp ‘tude and high fashion-meets-cheeky camp throughout the clip. (Did I just see a milk-ified reference to Un Chien Andalou at one point?) This is a girl who loves her pop hooks and humor about as sharp as her razor blades.

Bang bang, my Kills-y shot him down! J’adore.

Though she’s usually found sharpening knives and pouring hot candle wax on her latest victims, it seems Mizz Natalia Kills might just be toying with the notion of becoming a disco diva. Well–a dark disco diva anyway.

Her latest song to hit the web–”Lights Out,” crafted by “Kill My Boyfriend” producer/DJ Junior Caldera and featuring Kills and her Cherrytree Records labelmates Far East Movement–is an explosive club anthem, and probably her most straightforward dance offering to date.

Floating above a four-to-the-floor smooth House beats and an electronic guitar strum (almost reminiscent of a Junkie XL or Kaskade production), the cold-hearted vixen lets her otherwise heavenly crooning fly loose: “I can read your dirty mind/That good guy shit won’t fly with me,” Kills warns.

“I see you and you’re pulling the wool over my eyes,” she continues. But before she’s even got a chance to finish, the boys of Far East Movement are already here to crash the party: “Lights out!” we hear as the song slams hard into an ferocious beat breakdown.

Filled with surging beats and half-cutesy, half-sinister lyrics (“Boy, I got a Ph.D/I got a Masters in Boy-ology”), Natalia’s got a serious hit on her hands with “Lights Out.” If she lets this one loose on the clubs, we could be looking at a dance floor massacre.

I absolutely love this track, Mizz Kills!

Perfection takes time.

It was over two years ago–back in December of ’09–that I first wrote about “Zombie,” the lead buzz single from Cherrytree Records’ mysterious new signee. Now, the moment has finally arrived this week for Natalia Kills with the release of her debut album on August 16: Perfectionist.

Last night, my faithful blog bestie Jon (of Jon Ali’s Blog) along with the raddest Miss Hannah (Sheena Beaston) met up on the rooftop of Atlas New York to fete the release of Kills’ debut as part of the Open Air Atlas Concert Series.

As we schmoozed for a bit and…err, familiarized ourselves with the open bar, a crowd quickly drew together on the far side of the rooftop near a tiny stage set directly in front of the Empire State Building. (Gorgeous backdrop!)

The speakers soon died down as a man took to the stage: None other than Cherrytree’s own Martin “Cherry Cherry Boom Boom” Kierszenbaum! After a brief spoken introduction, Kierzenbaum welcomed the lovely Miss Natalia Kills–zipped up tight in a simple black dress and crowned with a tightly bound sky-high top bun–to the stage. The singer quickly tore into a gorgeous acoustic set from Perfectionist, including “Kill My Boyfriend,” “Wonderland,” “Love Is A Suicide,” “Free,” and “Mirrors” (which you can now watch below).

Kills’ vocals were absolutely on fire last night (killer, even…DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!) as she flawlessly delivered almost half of her debut album–making playful quips every step of the way–before finally heading offstage for the night.

After a bit more flitting about the rooftop and a few more return trips to the still-open bar (that green tea vodka lemonade drink was to die for! Don’t worry, I made sure to have enough on behalf of all you Muusers!), Jon and I headed downstairs to catch up with Kills once again.

We spoke to Kills for a bit about the album, the release party and her birthday celebrations (She got a guitar! But she doesn’t know how to play it yet.) As always, she was entirely sweet and gracious, entirely overcome with joy that her record was finally available worldwide. I couldn’t be happier for her!

A little later in the evening, a few of Kills’ team members quietly snuck away and returned with a giant birthday cake, complete with the words “Happy Birthday Kills!” and a massive axe made of frosting. The tiny singer, clearly flabbergasted, sweetly wished that everyone in the room would someday see their dreams come true as hers did last night as she blew out the candles.

And then, brandishing a knife, the murderous mistress made quick work of the delicious red velvet cake. Quite a pro with a blade, that one!

But the cake wasn’t the only sweet surprise of the night: Since its release yesterday, Kills’ Perfectionist has been floating within the Top 15 of the iTunes Albums chart. Could we see a Billboard Top 200 debut next week? I think so! A much deserved birthday present, indeed.

Thanks to the lovely Alexandra of High Rise PR, Martin Kierszenbaum of Cherrytree Records, Atlas New York and, of course, Miss Natalia Kills for a truly magnificent evening out!

Mo’ money, mo’ problems? Not for Miss Natalia Kills!

Busting out some of her best couture poses, Ms. Kills takes her sweethearts on a shopping spree of not-so-subliminal messages and utter threadlust in the video for her latest single, “Free (feat. Will.I.Am).”

While she might be working down to her last lonely dollar, it doesn’t mean she’s not going to rock it like she’s got free-flowing funds: I’m la-la-loving all these killer high fashion styles and outrageous ‘do’s (that flammable sky-high hair bun!)–especially the bad bitch dominatrix get-up she’s working in the money pit. Sharp stilettos and black leather…all day, erryday please!

So get your fives, get your tens, get your twenties out…

normal 05 Natalia Kills Releases Third US Single Today: Free (feat. Will.I.Am)

Today, my bloody valentine Natalia Kills releases the third single off of her forthcoming debut album Perfectionist: “Free.”

Produced by Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West) and co-penned by Kills, Kid Cudi and No I.D., “Free” is one of the most fun, breezy songs off of Kills’ long awaited debut that, most importantly, contains the objectively perfect pop line: “I can look fresh in a potato sack.”

The single version also contains an opening verse by Will.I.Cannot.. It’s nothing too grating, but…you know. I just can’t.

5. Lady Gaga – Judas
Oh, the betrayal! Gaga’s newest single mashes the song structure of “Bad Romance” with the merciless pounding of Nicole Scherzinger’s “Poison” to create a shriek-filled ode to subservience and codependency. Whether you love it, hate it or proclaim it to be the work of the Devil, one thing’s for sure: “Judas” is about to plague the airwaves for the rest of the year. (LISTEN) (iTunes)

4. Nicole Scherzinger – Right There
Sure, her album came out exactly one month ago, but I’m still twerking my hips to this “What’s My Name?”-esque groove. Produced by Jim Jonsin and co-penned by the reliably naughty Ester Dean, Scherzy Baby’s Caribbean-tinged love letter scribed for the man who knows how to “go down, down, duh-down” is right up my street. (LISTEN) (iTunes UK)

3. Tinashe – Chainsaw
While ex-Stunners sensation Tinashe is still gearing up for the release of her debut solo single, this leak from her studio sessions with “Like A G6″ hit-makers The Cataracs has the bass bumping so hard I’ve already misplaced my pants. (LISTEN)

2. Jennifer Lopez – Papi
Did J. Lo have you heading to the floor with her last hit? Good–now stay there! La Lopez is back with another Latin-infused RedOne club thumper–and arguably one of her best club anthems since “Waiting For Tonight.” Mm papi, love you! (LISTEN) (iTunes)

1. Wynter Gordon – Til Death
One of MuuMuse’s favorite pop vixens retuns with her long-awaited second Australian single, “Til Death”! Armed with a punchy chorus and some of the best lyrics in recent dance-pop history (“‘Til death do we party, with the music I die!”), Wynter’s latest is destined to make the rounds at every club across the galaxy. Watch for the MuuMuse Approved post later this week! (LISTEN) (iTunes Australia)

Natalia Kills Wonderland Natalia Kills: Wonderland (Video Premiere)

Young hearts run free…unless they’re served up on a dinner plate!

Click above to watch the ferocious new video for Natalia Kills‘ latest single, “Wonderland.”

It’s a fairy tale gone terribly wrong as the violent vixen claws her way through a bloody dinner debacle, surrounded by creepy masked guests, fluffy white bunnies and a whole swarm of unwelcome security personnel.

Everything about the clip–from the skeleton-bone stilettos to the blood-curling screams–works perfectly for me. And hey, isn’t Kills a positively killer actress here? She really put herself on the chopping block for this one…and I’m sold!

For anyone wondering, all that jarring text that flashes across the screen throughout is a nod to American conceptual artist, Barbara Kruger. (See examples of her work here.)

DYING…now this is how you kick off an album release day!

nataliawonderland No More Fairy Tales: Natalia Kills Releases Trailer for Wonderland Video

Natalia Kills has just unveiled the teaser trailer to her upcoming single “Wonderland,” and it looks…INCREDIBLE!

Between blood-curdling screams, brutal police take-downs and creepy rabbit masks, it looks as though Kills is about to give us one deliciously dark romp though her own Grimm’s Fairy Tale. This is my bloody valentine!

The full video will be released soon.

In the meantime, have you checked out the “Mirrors” sheet music contest yet?
