In case you haven’t heard it yet, the new Peaches album, I Feel Cream, is simply creamulous–a roaring, electrofied upgrade in the right direction for the Queen of Nazzzty.

This here’s the long awaited (is that a fair statement?) video for her new single, “Talk To Me.” As always, I find myself pleasantly surprised by her video’s quality–they’re a much higher quality production than you might expect the singer behind “Diddle My Skittle” to concoct.

Take a look above!

The long and short of it: If Britney Spears and back-up bitches in their “Gimme More” get-up wandered onto the set of A Haunting In Connecticut featuring creative input by Cousin Itt, you’d have “Talk To Me.”

So sexual, so conceptual.

Is Peaches getting…serious?

Am I…okay with that?

From the likes of this new single off the upcoming album, I Feel Cream, it sure seems so. Replacing hardcore smut with a bit of rocker strut, Peaches commands her way through her cleanest strummer since “Operate.” Without getting too overly praising, I’m getting a little bit of a Janis Joplin sort of vibe with this one.

Anyway–this is perfect “first single” material; not quite powerful enough to be appreciated as a track in its own right, but just the right amount of energy to keep ‘em biting. I can’t wait to see this woman kick off the concert with “Talk To Me” before launching into a scorching rendition of “Fuck The Pain Away.”

RAWK.

Oh, and I’m still giggling over the fact that Peggy Lee‘s “Cheek to Cheek” is the next song to come up after playing this track on my iTunes. Heaven

HOW DID I MISS THIS?!!

According to the LA Times Blog, Peaches has been hard at work diddling her skittle with Simian Mobile Disco and Drums of Death for this upcoming album, I Feel Cream, due out on May 5 on XL Recordings!

In lieu of the new, Drums of Death has spliced together a massive mix-tape ripe with both old and new selections from the best of the Almighty Teaches of Peaches. Scattered within the tracks are various fan stories, recollecting their favorite live moments with the Queen of Crass. New songs in the mix include the ghetto fabulous “Buck It Like A Billionaire” and “Lose You,” a falsetto heavy electro creeper that may as well be a B-side from Annie‘s Don’t Stop sessions. Fast forward to the half-hour mark to hear “I Feel Cream” in full.

It seems as though Peaches has returned to her synthified electro roots, only this time she’s pumping up the production value and dumbing down the XXX.

Whether it’ll be a hit or miss with the fans remains to be seen–But then again, Peaches doesn’t give a fuck what you think.

9415e6520af8087f459e328f3863c24f Bitchy BitchesSo many electro pop debuts for 2009, so little time! Here we have Le Corps Mince de Françoise, an up-and-coming girly trio hailing from the mean streets of Helsinki. The band (which translates to The Skinny Body of Francoise, for the record) is releasing their debut single, “Bitch of the Bitches” on January 26th, 2009.

Playful, chaotic, and interesting, Le Corps Mince de Françoise’s debut is fresh with promise. The track bursts with elements of Peaches, CSS, and even a bit of Bollywood gone electro to boot. Ah yes, and of course, the staple ingredient for all indie-pop concoctions: Hand claps.

I’m into it, and I think you should be too. So stream it.

I saw her promotional video hitting my favorite blogs, but I decided to remain silent until her video sprung up. And all at once, I get it.

a78da75761b838cfa912cdc593e84433 Gaga 4 GagaShe really does have it down. The vogueing, the high fashion, the imperfect perfection that is so deliciously now. Lady Gaga is the latest purveyor of all things dance pop and trendy electro trash. She’s a little bit Kylie, a little bit Peaches, and a whole lot of hot mess fun. Check out the brand new video to her single, “Just Dance,” an unapologetically forward ode to…well, dancing. I guess you saw that one coming. I could have said crocheting, you know.

Above is the video. It’s honestly perfect for the song, and I’m quite addicted to it. Hot pants, disco lights, and trashy, sloppy romps through fashion and fun with a new surprise around every frame. I’m not kidding…I’ve already played it three times! I love that mini-breakdown dance at 1:30, personally. This song and video combination is love. Addicted. Can’t wait to hear more from Gaga when the debut album The Fame hits this summer.
