Today, a new gem has been unearthed from that set, and–as far as I can tell–is seeing the light of day for the very first time.

This is the Slips remix of “Sexual Gold,” track four of the legendary demo series, aided by drippy electro pulsations and a determined electro bassline that carries the track into future-sound disco euphoria. I can’t tell how much of the original track is retained here, as the mix seems to have stripped off the original structure of the song almost entirely (though masterfully done), the few words cooed into the speakers scream symphonic gold.

It’s gooey, it’s delicious, and now…it’s all yours, thanks to the Slips. Yum!
