First off, let me tell you something right now: This post was originally drafted on January 29, 2010–nearly one year ago.
Jodie Aysha‘s “I’m A Pozer (Zer Zer Zer)” was originally uploaded to YouTube months and months ago, only to be cruelly and unjustly removed after only one or two days for unknown reasons (though I suspect it had to do with the fact that Aysha is no longer associated with All Around The World Records.)
In that time, I simply knew I had to snag an interview with this woman. And so I did. I now present to you: Jodie Aysha’s legendary “I’m A Pozer (Zer Zer Zer),” plus a brief Q&A. Enjoy!

After rejecting a major label bid war in favor of an exclusive distribution deal at Tesco, reportedly declining an X Factor performance invite, and forgoing all contact with her (former) Girls Aloud band members for almost a year, Nadine Coyle has made it a point throughout the entire recording and promotional process of her new-found solo career that she’s going to produce and promote the music her own way—and she doesn’t need your help, thank you very much.

While certain other girl groups are busy splintering off and side-eying each other through the press, The Sugababes are sticking it out together.*
Amelle, Heidi, Keisha, Siobhan, Mutya and Jade have just unleashed a trio of fragrances on September 18 called Sugababes by Sugababes–the first ever fragrance release by a girl group!
The collection, made up of Tempt (“vigorously fruity”), Tease (“sexy and sultry”) and Touch (“intense”), is “spirited, uplifting, and perfect for the modern young woman.” At least that’s what I’m being told.

Alesha Dixon has just uploaded her new single onto YouTube and…
The beat is exactly the same as Robyn‘s “Dancing On My Own.” Like, literally.
I mean, I guess it’s alright (mostly because the melody is completely different), but that opening synthesizer line will never be dissociated from Robyn’s original masterpiece in my mind.
Oh yeah, and the actual song is like a cross between a slower version of The Sugababes‘ “About You Now” and something boring.
Let’s stop going the route we’re going and bring back the “Lipstick,” Dixxy darling!
The Saturdays, perhaps best known as the girl group we’ve come to accept as ‘good enough’ until Girls Aloud or the Sugababes work their magic again, just uploaded a backstage photo from their show last night in Nottingham.
