The magnificent M.I.A. comes guns blazin’ back onto the scene in 2012 with the Danja-produced “Bad Girls,” a track originally featured on her off-the-charts brilliant 2011 mixtape, Vicki Leekx.

The accompanying Romain Gavras-directed video, which was released earlier today on Pitchfork, finds the genre-smashing British femcee getting flossy and flying free in the desert, racing dusty cars and pulling some rather insane stunts along the way. Oh…just chilling sideways on top of a moving car, you?

Whether she’s ra-ra-sis-boom-bah-ing for Madonna or just hangin’ tight off the hood of a car, M.I.A. is simply too cool for school–and I love every minute of it.

It seems that over the past few months since we’ve last heard from her, Cherrytree darling Mizz Natalia Kills has found herself a handsome suitor to shack up with and enjoy all for herself. Sounds like it’s all ponies and rainbows and marshmallows for Ms. Kills now, right? And they’re both going to live happily ever after…

Just kidding: She wants to kill him. She wants to kill him DEAD.

In the murderous new clip for Kills’ latest rampage, the dark-pop princess sharpens her knives and…fetches a few gallons of milk?!

That’s right! To do out the dirty deed, the sneaky songstress takes to doling out some serious punishment, lactose style. If you think the lead in Brit Brit‘s “I Wanna Go” video got the milky shower treatment, think again–this is an all-out moo-sacre.

You’ve got to love Kills’ dagger-sharp ‘tude and high fashion-meets-cheeky camp throughout the clip. (Did I just see a milk-ified reference to Un Chien Andalou at one point?) This is a girl who loves her pop hooks and humor about as sharp as her razor blades.

Bang bang, my Kills-y shot him down! J’adore.

“Titanium (feat. Sia)”: The best song off of David Guetta‘s 2011 record Nothing But The Beat by a long shot–and now, an official single.

The video for the powerhouse uptempo follows a young boy (Ryan Lee, who fittingly starred in Super 8) as he runs from the law E.T. style because he’s hiding something a little–supernatural. It’s one of those videos that starts with a bang and, err, well…no spoilers up in here, but stay tuned up until the very end!

Although it’s disappointing that the Aussie alt-diva herself wasn’t featured, the clip still tells a great mini-story that works well with the song.

And while it’s still unclear whether or not “Titanium” will be making its way stateside (it would truly be the ultimate pop injustice if not!) the song’s already been serviced to much of Europe, charting within the Top 10 of dozens of countries already. Let’s make this one explode all around the world!

Lana Del Rey has just released her first big-budget music video ever with “Born To Die,” the latest single from her highly anticipated upcoming Interscope debut, due out in January.

Truly, it’s a gorgeous production from start to finish–from the sweeping cathedral interior shots, to the real-life tigers (aww, so pretty!), to that scintillating make-out sesh in the hot rod with her tall, tatted beau, to one majorly dramatic finale. (Make sure you stick it out ’til the very end!)

Without spoiling too much, the video acts as a perfect companion piece to the song: Slow-burning, beautiful, and ultimately…quite tragic.

Oh, and I’m not the only one who approves: Lana seems pretty pleased with the production as well! From Twitter:

Kelly Clarkson, you lovable goon.

Just this morning, the powerhouse vocalist premiered the video for her upcoming single “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger),” the title track off of her off-the-charts amazing fifth studio album, Stronger. And it’s amazing!

Suited in some unexpected futuristic garb (looking HOT, Miss C!), it seems as though Ms. Clarkson’s accidentally wandered onto the set of Brit Brit‘s intergalactic masterpiece “Hold It Against Me” to get a closer look on the monitors at some of her biggest fans around the world working it out to her latest single.

Though I was initially nervous about the whole ‘flash mob’ element to the video, the inclusion of fan clips is pretty seamless–plus, it’s a sweet little show of appreciation by Miss Kelly!

The video mainly alternates between the fan-submitted clips and a few signature K. Clarkson video elements, including a ‘rocking out with the band’ scene and a ‘singing into an old-timey microphone’ scene. But wait until the last minute, because the greatest thing ever happens: She dances!

Yes–that’s Kelly Clarkson DANCING! And you know what? She looks amazing! Actually, she looks totally adorkable. I love how much fun she’s having, and she looks totally sexy and confident to boot. She’s such a genuinely incredible role model. And those karate skills? Simply unparalleled!

All in all, the perfect combination of strong and silly. WIN, WIN, WIN!

NO, BUT REALLY: STOP YOUR LIFE.

Nicola Roberts has just premiered the video for “Yo-Yo,” the third single off of her gorgeous debut album Cinderella’s Eyes, and it is a 100% flaw-free experience.

Playing like (Ginge) Barbie in the opening scenes, Queen Nicola puts on a haute-as-fuck fashion show for the lens while getting ready to go out for the night with her yo-yo of a (hunky) boyfriend. Effortlessly glam posing, Ms. Roberts! Aloud fans worldwide are beaming with pride.

Fast forward to the party, and we find the two now doing a bit of snuggle ‘n’ grind amidst the revelry. Cameras are flashing while they’re dirty dancing! But at the end of the night, is he really there for our girl? Watch and decide for yourself!

If the lighting and styling look familiar, that’s probably because the video was directed by photographer Freddie Helwig, who shot all of the brilliant album artwork for the Cinderella’s Eyes campaign. To make this shoot even more special, “Yo-Yo” is Helwig’s music video directorial debut.

Frankly, the video is the perfect companion to an already perfect song. Every shot is gorgeous, and Nicola looks absolutely stunning. By the time that crystalline middle eight comes creeping into the speakers and she begins agonizing and writhing up against the shower wall, it’s clear that Roberts has absolutely nailed it (again).

So, so proud! TEAM GINGE FOR LIFE.

Looks like Florence Welch is having some trouble shaking the devil off her back.

Earlier today, Florence + The Machine premiered the jaw-dropping new video for “No Light, No Light,” the third single from her second studio album Ceremonials, which was (fittingly) released on Halloween.

Voodoo, creepy church boys straight out of The Omen and distinctly Illuminati/Satanic-friendly undertones? Yep–looks like the work of our beloved Florence to me!

Watch as Ms. Welch is endlessly chased down by a dark-sided (and blue-skinned) demon creature, getting poked and prodded in rag-doll form until finally succumbing and taking a tumble from great heights. The cinematography is absolutely stunning, and Welch looks gorgeous playing the witchy songstress she so naturally is.

The perfect visual for a most perfect song? Methinks yes.

Oh, and another thing: I know I haven’t made a peep about Ceremonials, but trust me: I think it’s thoroughly brilliant. Epic. In fact, it’s a little too epic for me to handle. Every time I listen, I have to walk away for a while and collect myself. There’s just too much epic! I don’t know how, when or if I’m ever going to properly review that record–but it’s fucking ACE.

Earlier this year, Swedish dance-pop sensation September (of “Cry For You” fame, you know the one) released her fourth studio album, Love CPR–a collection of reliably amazing Swedish dance-pop tracks.

But among the album’s many deliciously infectious offerings–including “Resuscitate Me” and “Me & My Microphone”–lies my all-time favorite track of the bunch: “Party In My Head,” which MuuMuse contributor Sam highlighted previously in the second volume of his “Amazing Things I’m Listening to from Sweden” series.

“Party In My Head” is thoroughly amazing for several different reasons, including:

+ The line “I don’t care if the whole club is dead, ’cause the party’s in my head.”
+ The line “I don’t care about the VIP, ’cause every single DJ’s inside me.”
+ The deep personal connection. It resonates. If you know anything about me at all, you’d know that I spend most of my free time wandering around getting lost in my headphones. The party is indeed in my head.

Oh, and every single DJ has also been inside me.

Following the song’s release to iTunes in late September (SEPTEMBER IN SEPTEMBER, Y’ALL!), “Party In My Head” has now received a proper video treatment, which you can see above.

It seems as though September’s gone and gotten a hold of New York City’s broadcasting system to have herself plastered across every screen in Times Square. (Now you know why the federal government did that test of the Emergency Alert System earlier this week.) No one seems to bothered by the fact, though. And why should they?

Frankly, I wish that’s how it was in New York City: Can this be real life, so that the next time I’m sprinting down Broadway trying to flag down a taxi in order to catch the last train home, I can look up and smile knowing that September is watching over me like a sweet, sweet guardian Swedish spirit she is? Please let it be, Pop Gods!

Here’s a good way to kick off the week properly: It’s the video premiere for Oh My‘s slammin’ new single, “Dirty Dancer”!

The song–which I featured in my weekly wrap-up for MTV Buzzworthy but not on MuuMuse because I’m terrible and selfish–has been on heavy rotation ever since I first heard it three weeks ago. It’s such an amazing ear-worm!

Watch as Alex and Jade get their kicks by pulling some serious shapes in an all-out kitschy dance-a-thon complete with fly swatters, the Eiffel Tower and a chameleon (amongst lots of other odds ‘n’ ends), plus a guest verse by Grime star Scru Fizzer!

I’m sort of obsessed with the whole ‘we’re just sort of going for it’ vibe of the video. The dancing’s so fierce, the styling’s so zany…such a pretty mess! Nice work, ladies.

Okay, so I think I’ve written this line about once every hour at this point, but…Beyoncé‘s got a new video out!

Yes! After releasing a barrage of videos from her fourth studio album 4 in the past few weeks–from “1+1″ to “Countdown” to “Love On Top,” Bey is unleashing yet another for “Party,” the one she shot a few months ago featuring cameos by J. Cole, Kelly Rowland and even lil’ sister Solange. So what’s the deal? Well, it’s a party. Duh!

And this time, we’re going cunnnntry! Dancing around in a trailer with tin foil all up in her hurr, King B’s going the opposite of glam and getting down with everyday folk in the neighborhood. No couture gowns and sophisticated looks here! Just electric pink lipstick and tacky yellow fur coats. It’s a reg’lar celebration, thus forcing us all to suspend our disbelief and pretend that Bey isn’t actually sitting down on a Swarovski-encrusted director’s seat while Jay-Z fans her with palm fronds between takes.

Look, I know it’s easy to go in on Lady Beysus lately: She’s feverishly whipping out singles and videos like she’s starving for a hit and possibly faking the size of her beyby bump for attention (and/or forcing one of the many ex-Destiny’s Child members to carry a child to term for her), but…I like the video! I think it’s fun! And colorful! Special? Not really. But cute? I think so!

Even if all the smilin’, posin’ and gigglin’ with her friends is just straight up fakery, I’m still having a good time with Beysus. I want to be at this party! Well, mostly so I can meet K. Rowland and ask her to choreograph a dance to “Work (Freemasons Remix)” with me. But still!
