Screen Shot 2012 04 07 at 11.07.08 AM Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again (Video Premiere)

The video for Jennifer Lopez‘s soon-to-be smash on the radio “Dance Again” features just about everything that the song promises: Dancing, love (and/or love-making–or at the very least, copious amounts of foreplay), and then dancing again.

Clearly, Jennifer forgot to ask for flaws in her rider for the video shoot, because there simply are none to be found on her body–from the curvaceous lumps to the fan-blow friendly post-sex hair. And of course, Mr. Worldwide‘s on set looking charmingly pervy in his white tuxedo on loan from Baby Gap.

In order to really drive the song’s message home, J-Lo engages in the following:

1.) Levitates into a masquerade orgy/people pile of sorts a la Kylie‘s “All The Lovers” up against the ceiling (safe sex is gravity-free sex.)
2.) Rolls around in some of Ke$ha‘s leftover glitter that she upchucked last Tuesday after one too many bottles of Jack.
3.) Unleashes an absolutely mayjah dance breakdown with her newest boy toy, dancer Casper Smart, that keeps every pop chick in the game pressed. 20-year-old pop ladies, how come Madonna and J-Lo are out-dancing y’all? Oh right: ‘CAUSE THEY’RE LEGENDS.

In short, STUN-NING. (Also, oh hay gay rights (sort of)!) Shout out to the MTV All-Star Tribute!

But really, I must say: Choosing to release this video on the weekend the Lord has risen? Tsk tsk. Surely this YouTube commenter ‘soniadinoraportillo’ says it best:

Jennifer Lopez is promoting orgies and I dislike this video, she is a very promiscuous old woman trying to keep up with the teen ages, face it your are 42!.

gossip Gossip: Perfect World (Video Premiere)

It’s the video premiere for Gossip‘s gorgeous new Brian Higgins-produced single, “Perfect World”–and we’re being brought to church!

So what exactly exists in a perfect world, according to the sacred hymn of Beth Ditto? Stained glass, fire, candelabras and slender gymnast-dancers, amongst other things.

The video was directed by Price James, the same director behind Ditto’s brilliant “I Wrote The Book,” which paid homage to Madonna‘s “Justify My Love.”

The cinematography for “Perfect World” reminds me a bit of Adele‘s award-winning “Rolling In The Deep” (especially those gymnast scenes), but with an added flair of the occult.

Exorcise them demons, Ms. Ditto!

“Perfect World” was released on March 13. (iTunes)

011418 rickilee coulter Ricki Lee Coulter: Do It Like That (Video Premiere)

Three weeks ago, Fred Falke premiered his absolutely mind-blowing remix of Australian comeback chanteuse Ricki-Lee Coulter‘s second single from her upcoming third studio album, “Do It Like That.”

Now, it’s finally time for us to hear the real thing.

The original mix of Coulter’s latest Aussie release is a much livelier affair than the remix suggests, featuring a bleepy video game beat, blaring synthesizers and a bouncy, marching band-like ferocity, sort of similar to Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies.” And brave yourselves for the breakdown: Yep, “Hold It Against Me” dubstep breakdown alert! (That Godney reign just won’t let up…)

The bright ‘n’ bubbly video’s a whole bunch of fun too (what with all the choreography and sassy strutting and all), except for the slightly odd fact that the Ricki-Lee is missing a pair of pants throughout the entire clip. Seriously, what happened there? Did the label blew the entire video budget on the giant letters that spell out her name? Ketchup incident from the hot dog vendor? Oh well.

Giant letters beat out proper attire on the pop perfection scale, anyway.

katgraham Kat Graham: Put Your Graffiti On Me (Video Premiere)

The legendary Miss Kat Graham, lead of Honey 2 and current star of The Vampire Diaries, has been making tiny waves on the net over the past two years with her on-again, off-again music career, including anthems like “Sassy” and “I Want It All.”

Having just signed to A&M Octone Records, the gorgeous songstress has just unveiled the first official major label track: “Put Your Graffiti On Me,” produced by rising Melbourne duo Twice As Nice.

Graham’s new beat is a certifiable Blazin’ Banga, featuring a rowdy marching band drum line and hazy urban-pop synthesizers. “Put your graffiti on me,” Graham urges before the song’s most stunning demand: “Tag me!”, launching immediately into a clang-a-lang cowbell breakdown (it’s the new LMFAO “Shake that!”-into-beat breakdown shuffle!) Tag you with what though, Kat? Spray paint? Never mind–I won’t even ask.

There are, roughly, eleventy billion things to love about Graham’s accompanying video for the track as well, including (but not limited to): High ponytails, ponytail grabbing, ponytail whipping, fierce choreography, animal prints, lip tattoos, cowbell werking, Ciara “Work” realness, Pussycat Dolls realness, exquisite nail design, high-waisted shorts, finger licking, booty grabbing, and a really hot dude.

If you’ve done the math correctly (carry the 1…add the ponytail…), you’ll realize: “Put Your Graffiti On Me” is 100% amazing.

Grab your spray cans, boys and girls…we’re going tagging!

“Put Your Graffiti On Me” was released on March 26. (iTunes)

Screen Shot 2012 03 20 at 8.08.43 PM Madonna: Girl Gone Wild (Video Premiere)

Watch the video premiere of Madonna‘s new single off of MDNA, “Girl Gone Wild,” which just premiered tonight!

It’s so (homo)erotic…

The song’s called “Girl Gone Wild,” so naturally, The Queen enlisted a half-dozen deliciously lickable…male models to writhe all over each other for the duration of the Mert & Marcus-directed clip. Guess who’s not mad about that creative decision? THIS GUY! I WANT TO LICK THIS ENTIRE VIDEO.

But no, for serious though: Even if the men provide plenty of candy (and apples!), it’s truly all about Madonna. She looks absolutely incredible: Sexy, stretchy, strong. No leotards, no stick-figure arms. Even if she’s going on about being wild, there’s no doubt that Madonna is completely and utterly in control. She appears in this video like she does in the annals of pop culture: Like an icon.

From “Like A Prayer” to “Vogue” to “Erotica” to “Human Nature, the video references much of Madonna’s back catalog. The religious imagery, the bondage, the overt sexuality. Sin! Sex! Smut! It’s all there.

And while the preview released a few weeks ago might have already clued us into the heavily S&M-inspired visuals for the clip, who knew there’d be so much…DANCING? Yes, dancing! Madonna, age 53, holding her own alongside my favorite svelte Ukranian dance troupe, Kazaky. (That IS Kazaky, right? There’s still some debate…) And yes, EVERYONE’S IN HEELS. That’s fucking commitment!

By the way, that steaming pipe (or whatever she’s throwing around) at the end represents your faves.

She’s just so inspiring. Over 30 years and counting, and she’s making music videos that are still more iconic than most every pop chick in the game. I’m getting emotional…

MDNA4EVR.

MDNA will be released on March 26. (iTunes)
