Kylie Minogue to Release ‘Aphrodite Les Folies Live in London’ DVD on November 28

I’m fierce and I’m feeling mighty…

Are you dying to relive all the glamour and glitter of Queen Kylie‘s 27 country, 77 show spectacle, Aphrodite Les Folies?

Have no fear: The mighty Aphrodite is here!

On November 28, the prolific pop princess will be releasing her fabulous 2011 tour to DVD and Blu-Ray.

From the press release:

Parlophone will release Kylie’s amazing performance ‘Aphrodite – Les Folies’, filmed live at London’s O2 Arena last April, on CD, DVD and Blu-ray on November 28th. The tour was Kylie’s most ambitious and spectacular to date and the DVD footage, filmed over 2 nights, captures the show at its absolute peak. Directed by William Baker and Marcus Viner, all formats also feature an exclusive tour documentary.

A tour documentary? AMAZING!

Along with the documentary, Mizz Minogue’s decided to throw in a few extra goodies as well, depending on the format you choose:

Formats available:

1. DVD with bonus double-CD set of the live concert and a free theatrical release poster (total 3 disks)
2. Special Limited Edition DVD boxed-set with bonus double-CD set of the live concert and an exclusive 12-page booklet (total 3 disks)
3. Blu-ray DVD with a bonus 3D DVD (i.e. 2 separate DVD disks: 1x2D DVD & 1x3D DVD)

I had the opportunity to catch the Mighty Aphrodite in action twice this year–once in Boston, and then again in New York City. And while the show wasn’t as elaborate as the overseas leg (no water fountains sadly!), it was still an absolutely incredible experience: Flawless vocals, brand new song mixes, gorgeous Greek-inspired stage and costume design, killer choreography and of course…lots of shirtless men!

To celebrate the release, here’s a taste of what’s to come from the DVD, “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” style.

Watch and twirl!

Aphrodite was released in July of 2010. (iTunes)
