Bright Light Bright Light, “Moves” (Video Premiere)

Bright Light Bright Light is kicking off the summer season by tying up an era, unveiling the final single off of his fantastic 2012 debut Make Me Believe In Hope (and my personal favorite from the record), “Moves.”

The dreamy, Paul Frankl-directed clip focuses on two strapping lads; one performing an elaborately choreographed dance in a studio, the other winding and grinding between the sheets until the two join together at the very end. Or do they?

There’s no elaborate plot or special cameos to be found here: Just two bodies in motion, gorgeous lighting and masterful cinematography, all while the electronic break-up ballad builds and sadly throbs along in the background.

The video arrives just ahead of the release of the accompanying Moves EP on June 3, which features two remixes of “Moves,” as well as the twinkling “This Is Me Without You” and “Blueprint.”

If only every break-up could be this beautiful…

The Moves EP will be released on June 3. (iTunes)
