First we were given Ladyhawke’s interpretation of the track, and now, the original D-I-Y Pop MySpacer herself has jumped in with her own rendition of “Womanizer”! To no one’s surprise, Lily Allen’s version is utterly brilliant. Lily’s caustic, sarcastic little ‘tude works perfectly for the track, especially within the talky bits of the chorus. Even the middle eight is a bit lush! Naughty minx.

I think this is HOT!! kinda reminds me of when Yael Naim did a cover of Britney’s Toxic!

So much better with a little more darkness and simplicity to it. I mean.. listen to the lyrics. It’s supposed to sound dark.
