AGREED!
I am so ready for a new album from this lady. I really want Better than Today. Seeing her perform that song live really made me want it, i really hope she doesn’t make that song the White Diamond of this album. : | So now the producers so far are Xenomania, Jake Shears, and Price. Now all she needs to add is Mr. Richard X.
Stuart was practically discovered by Madonna in 1998, not only did he co-produce Confessions On A Dancefloor but he was also responsible for her American Life album (way before his work with the Killers OR Seal), her Music album along-side Mirwais and also was musical director or her major record breaking tours in the 00’s; Drowned World Tour, Re-Invention Tour and Confessions Tour. Theres no denying he’s a genius but Kylie will never re-create what he and Madonna did, Madonna is more in tune with what she wants, HE will produce Kylie which is something Madonna would never allow in their partnership. Stuart will ALWAYS be remembered for his work with Madonna, this is just another example of how Kylie has utilised Madonna’s talents to further her own career, instead of using Madonna’s old fashion creators (Gaultier and D&G) this time she’s opted for her musical director as sloppy seconds. What a career slide for Stuart, instead of the global audiences he had with Madonna and groundbreaking tours, his collaborations with Kylie will only ever be heard in 2 places, the UK and Australia. She’s being lazy, totally taking advantage of Madonna and how she stuck her neck out to trust in a relative unknown producer at the time. If Kylie is such a credible act like her fans keep shouting then why isnt she taking a gamble on an unknown like Madonna has done in the past and is doing right now as i type. A-Track, have you heard of him? NO, neither have i but i can bet on one thing, the stuff they come up with will be fresh and exciting unlike the tired electro sound Stuart has peddled since his work with Madonna.
