LITERALLY STOP YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE RIGHT NOW.

AN ALTERNATE CUT OF “GIMME MORE” HAS JUST LEAKED.

Until this afternoon, Britney‘s most mystery-enshrouded video to date was riddled with rumors about scrapped scenes and alternate plot-lines. Fueling the fire, there were a few screen captures of scrapped footage floating around, as well as the original paparazzi videos of the “Gimme More” shoot in progress. But as we all well know, none of it made the final cut.

Now, after four years, we have a glimpse into what could have been for “Gimme More.” So what is it? Well, it’s basically just more of the same–a brilliant, perfect hot ass mess. Brit Brit rolls around in a bed for a bit with a kitty cat, and then she goes for a nice afternoon jog in her best funeral garb.

IN CONCLUSION: She cannot be tamed, she cannot be blamed, and she sure as hell ain’t gonna keep that corset on during the live performance. Thank you very much.

Praise Godney Jeansus. Slayed.

neon hitch am i dreaming MuuMuse Approved: Listen to Neon Hitchs New Single, Bad Dog

Last week, MuuMuse premiered the DJ Chuckie remix of Neon Hitch‘s sensational new summer single, “Bad Dog.”

Now, it’s time to hear the whole thing!

Click above to listen to “Bad Dog,” which just premiered this morning on JustJared.

Much like Hitch’s “Get Over U” and “Silly Girl,” “Bad Dog” has rapidly become a favorite of the year.

“I just found out I’m fucking with a bad dog,” Hitch announces atop the song’s bouncy intro beat, produced by Benny Blanco and co-penned by Ester Dean. Add in a woof-filled explosion of ruff electro-pop beats and extra lusty moans, and you’ve the freshest, most sizzling production we’ve heard yet from the flame-haired gypsy pop princess.

In fact, “Bad Dog” bangs harder than 99% of anything that’s sucking up the radio airwaves at the moment–it seriously deserves to be a major summer smash. It is UHMAYZING.

Still no word on when this one’s hitting the street yet, but one thing’s for sure: She’s definitely barking up the right tree.

WOOF!

The greatest part about the rapidly globalizing state of the music industry is that, thanks to the the Internet, music lovers worldwide have the ability to indulge in popular music from far-off territories while developing a strong kinship with fellow fans. The downfall, of course, is that no one else around you knows who the fuck you’re talking about.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already: Meet Nadine Coyle.

nadine tank top On Music and Mist Burgers: A Very MuuMuse Interview with Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud

Nadine is best known as one-fifth of a girl group called Girls Aloud.

A super slick, super chic powerhouse quintet originally formed during a UK reality singing competition called Popstars: The Rivals, the Almighty Aloud ruled the UK charts from 2002 to 2009 with their unique brand of edgy, glam pop cultivated and mastered by arguably the greatest pop writing and production troupe of all time, Xenomania.

From kicky drum & bass cuts (“Sound Of The Underground”) to lush disco gems (“Call The Shots”), the Aloud’s chart reign is–pardon the pun–untouchable, having already garnered over 20 Top 10 singles in a row (a Guinness World Record), five platinum selling albums (not to mention a greatest hits collection that went platinum thrice over), and legions of fans the world over. You know, like myself.

On Thursday evening, I somehow found myself sitting down on a bench, outside on a patio in a gorgeous Chelsea loft, with an eager Nadine Coyle sitting directly next to me. “You’ll have to forgive me, I’m trying to keep it together,” I said, nervously fumbling at my phone to start recording. “Oh, yar so togaythur,” she reassured me with her thick Derry accent, adding with a smile: “Ay would have no aydeyuh!”

As I looked down at my barely legible notes where scattered thoughts like “‘Graffiti My Soul’/Britney connection?” and “How are the Mist Burgers at Nadine’s Irish Mist?!” were frantically scribbled and squished together, I could only think to myself: What is my life right now?

Whenever I find myself caught up in bumper-to-bumper traffic, my first reaction–after ugly crying and downing a sleeve of Oreo’s that I keep in the glove compartment ‘just in case’–is to put on some Britney. (Which, as it so happens, is also my reaction to literally everything else in life.)

Tinashe–one of MuuMuse’s latest Ones to Watch–just happens to take it a bit further.

Watch above as the rising pop starlet busts out a completely impromptu dance performance to Britney’s “Womanizer” in the middle of the Queens Midtown Tunnel. I mean, she just got up on the walkway and did the damn thing!

Hair whipping! Pointing! Strutting! Like…unapologetically, fiercely getting it!

MY HERO.

(And while you’re at it, check out her completely amazing cover of Lil Wayne‘s “How To Love.”)

britney i wanna go video milk Daily B: I Wanna Go is Britneys Third Top 20 Femme Fatale Single, Continues to Rise on Billboard Hot 100

“I Wanna Go,” Godney‘s third single from her seventh studio album Femme Fatale, just hit a new peak in this week’s newly published Billboard Hot 100, taking a leap from #22 to #17…and it’s still rising, uncontrollably! (La-blee, la-blee, la-blee, blee blee blee…)

YASSSSSS!!! Milk that album, bitch! (DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!)

According to a news article from Billboard posted this afternoon, this is the third time Queen B has spawned 3 Top 20 hits (so far!) from an album. From the article:

With the first two singles from “Femme” having reached Nos. 1 and 3 (“Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends”) respectively, Spears has racked a trio of top 20 hits from each of her last two studio sets; 2008′s “Circus” yielded “Womanizer” (No. 1), the title cut (No. 3) and “If U Seek Amy” (No. 19). Her only other album to manage the feat? Her 1999 debut “…Baby One More Time,” which generated the No. 1 title track, “(You Drive Me) Crazy” (No. 10) and “From the Bottom of My Broken Heart” (No. 14). (She almost scored four top 20 hits from that set; second single “Sometimes” peaked at No. 21).

But I’m not satisfied yet. I wantchu to take it HIYUH! Let’s go Top 10!

NH.baddog.07.submitted 01 MuuMuse Excluusive: Listen to the DJ Chuckie Remix of Neon Hitchs New Single, Bad Dog

SIT! STAY! GOOD BOY.

When I first caught Neon Hitch performing live at Splash in New York City two months ago–twerking her hips alongside shirtless drummers, riding boys with leashes and generally slaying the stage (watch it all go down live!)–there was one song in particular that had me clutching my pearls and raving like no one’s business: “Bad Dog.”

Complimented by a bevy of yelps and howls, the Benny Blanco-produced “Bad Dog” is a delicious explosion of pulsating electro-pop and naughty carnal yearning. “You’re just an animal that I caught / You know I’m yours, so rip my clothes off!” Hitch commands during the song’s snarling chorus. Woof!

Now, “Bad Dog” is poised to sink its teeth deep into the charts this summer as the gypsy pop princess’ ferocious new single.

Neon Hitch – Bad Dog (DJ Chuckie Remix) by muumuse

Yesterday, ArjanWrites brought you the utterly addictive Discotech remix of “Bad Dog.” Earlier this morning, Out Magazine premiered the electro-tastic Jason Nevins mix. Now it’s time to add another fabulous mix–err, into the mix!

Above is an Excluusive stream of the DJ Chuckie remix of Neon Hitch’s upcoming single, “Bad Dog.”

DJ Chuckie’s re-fix is a ruthlessly searing system overload, pumped up to the max with rave o’clock synthesizers and unstoppably hard, bangin’ beats guaranteed to leave you panting on the floor. Much like the original, it’s a solid smash!

Now then, who’s ready for a treat?

“Bad Dog” will be released later this summer. (iTunes)

cher Cher Confirms Shes Recorded a Lady Gaga Song Produced by RedOne, The Greatest Thing

Well, Madonna may not be working with RedOne anytime soon…but Cher is.

The legendary entertainer took to Twitter early Thursday morning to announce an exciting “secret” she’d been waiting all of forever to tell her fans:

Just walked in from studio ! I Finished 1st track on new cd &……..”GAGA ” ” YOU ARE THE GREATEST THING TO ME “

Naturally, the general response was universal: WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN, CHER.

After a few more minutes, the icon regained consciousness/someone on Team Cher took control of the bejeweled Blackberry clenched between her hands and finished the thought:

It’s not a duet ! Who knows ? I Did Hold her “Meat Purse” haha! One can wish! It’s one of her songs & she & Redone gave it to me 4 my cd ! Wait ! I would love duet with GaGa, but She Gave Me GREAT Song & I’m beyond Grateful!!!! It’s called ” The Greatest Thing “

So there you have it: Cher has recorded a song with RedOne. Penned by Lady Gaga. And guess what? You can already hear it now.

This Lady Gaga demo–originally dubbed “The Greatest”–first leaked on the web over a year ago. And as Cher originally tweeted, the song contains the phrase “You are the greatest thing to me.”

Admittedly it does sound very post-1998 Cher, what with the overly Auto-tuned vocals and all. But…is this a good enough song for Cher? Is this real life? What is love? (Baby, don’t hurt me.) Okay, so…but…

Pia+Toscano+398328s Pia Toscano Releases Generic/Amazing Debut Single, “This Time”

Pia Toscano – “This Time” (Radio Premiere)

As a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol, Pia Toscano was prematurely ousted after a series of technically flawless vocal performances.

Her advocates were flabbergasted by the upset, while her detractors were unsurprised. In her brief time on the show, Pia had always been even-keeled and likable, with the kind of jaw-droppingly perfect vocals that made a star out of Leona Lewis. All of this is great, but none of it makes for particularly compelling television.

With the release of her first single, “This Time,” Pia doesn’t stray from her formula: It’s a highly listenable midtempo ballad about overcoming the odds and “getting back to the real me,” with modern production that takes its cues from the country-inflected R&B of Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable.” Penned by hitmaker du jour Ester Dean, who has demonstrated her songwriting prowess on smashes like Rihanna’s “S&M” and Katy Perry’s “Firework,” the lyrics have a certain bland potency — “This Time” may not Ester’s finest work, but it’s certainly a worthy feather in her cap.

There’s something about the song that feels oddly, and appealingly, nostalgic; “This Time” is a big belter of a track, one that demands an artist like Pia to lay down some diva-caliber vocals; there’s no David Guetta-aping house production or phoned-in rent-a-rapper on the bridge; and, in an era of obstinate insistence on artist “authenticity,” it’s refreshing that we’ve yet to see anything about Pia Toscano’s tortured relationship history or songwriting process or any nonsense of the kind. It’s straightforward, and uncomplicated, even if it is a little boring. And I can’t stop playing it.

After all, there’s a very good reason that Pia developed such an unusually strong following on Idol: Homegirl can sang. And that’s exactly what she does on “This Time,” a strong, if undifferentiated, debut from an artist who has more than enough talent to forge a real career.
